This is really just a big wide street full of restaurants and souvenir shops. Not that interesting really. There are so other many great things to see and do in Barcelona. Skip this one.

It is the main walking attraction with lots of restaurants and bars. Unfortunatelly the trees were not green yet so it could be more attractive in summer with the huge trees lining both side of La Rambla. It is located in the heart of the City and well connected to the Gothic Quarter. The entrance starts at the Placa Catalonia and at the end you will find yourself by the see and the the statue of Colon. Be aware of the much higher prices on La Ramble. They charged me 4 Euros for a bottle of water in one of the little restaurants when I had my breakfast there. You can find more cheeper prices in little cafes and bars if you leave the La Rambla and visit any of the little streets at the Gothic area. If you want to see one the best food market with amazing fruits and all kinds of food, walk to to the middle of the La Rambla departing from Placa Catalonia and you will find it on the right side. It is called "La Boqueria". Unmissable!!!

If you visit Barcelona, you will end up on Las Ramblas on purpose or by accident. Long strolls day and night are amazing, world class shopping, and a beautiful layout. Great vision for this heart of the city!

A very crowded street, with stalls selling tourist tat, dodgy looking restaurants, and pickpockets (not that we actually encountered any). Other people seem to like it, but I'm not sure why!

Great walk, very exciting vibe. Terrific ice cream. BE Careful of pick pockets. This is there dream location. Be savvy.
