The pinchos were really delicious and as we expected. Its always worth a visit. The prices are moderate for BCN. Anytime again.

First day we had menu for two persons. Apetizers first course main course and dessert were great! The maincourse fish was called, I think, hage, and it was one-of-the-best ever! Great and quick service! We recommend it! Day two we went there for wine, cava and oysters. Great service, crowded and nice evenig, again!

You have to understand the concept here, and then you won't make the mistakes I did! :)
You sit at the table, order your drinks and then get tapas one of two ways.
1. Staff will bring around different hot tapas and offer you them. If you take one they record it.
2. On one side of the room are a range of tapas that you can go and help yourself of. These are mostly cold dishes.
We were sat there wondering how on earth they were keeping track of what we were eating, until my wife worked it out: each of the tapas that you take have a cocktail stick. At the end of the meal they count the cocktail sticks and work out what you owe.
The flaw in this comes if you do what I did, and break the stick up! This lead to an interesting conversation with the waiter as we tried to piece them together and work out how much I had! So be warned!
Anyway, the tapas ranged from great to OK, and we enjoyed our lunch, despite the cock-up with the cocktail sticks!

On our second visit of Barcelona, we came back to the same restaurant because of the great experience we had last year.
And once again we were happy with the variety of tapas offered. Good choice of cold tapas, displayed on a very large counter. Warm tapas were not as numerous, but tasty.
Service is fluid and the place itself is relaxing, clean and nice.
We were not disappointed at all on our second visit and would come back again on a next visit.

Although we didn’t eat here we finished every night of our visit to Barcelona here, as we were staying close by. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was relaxing and the Txakoli was cold and plentiful. A perfect place to end the night enjoying the hospitality of Barcelona.
