Lovely local catalan restaurant that offers reservation. They have a lot of tables available. It was quite slow during a Wednesday night however don't let the lack of customers/diners sway you from eating at this place.
This was our first restaurant after landing. Eating a hearty meal totally powered us for the night.
The croquettas de Pollo was great. Good flavor and crunchy texture. I could eat it all day
Gambas Al Ajillo was properly cooked. My mind was in awe how soft the prawns were. Typically, most restaurants tend to overcook the prawns, the prawns still maintained its softness. The garlic flavor was subtle and did not overpower the sweetness of the shrimp. The oil/sauce is to be mopped up by the bread they provide
Paella Mixta at €15 was a bargain. Very hearty and each bite was brusting with flavor. It will bring you to the seaside. Perfectly cooked rice and enough soccarat that gives it a nice texture.
Their Cochinilla was fork tender. Each inch of the pork is well seasoned. There was no gamey or bland flavor. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loved it. One of the best cochinilla I've ever had.
I recommend making a reservation using "theFork" app and get a nice discount. Our meal was €77 and after the discount was €46. Super steal if you asked me. This is easily a $150+ meal in the US and you won't get the same love/flavor/quality.
