A real gem!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 9 Dec 2019via mobile
We stayed here for 4 nights, it was a really lovely hotel. The hotel is very central for shops, restaurants and attractions. It is modern and spacious.
Our room was spacious, spotless and quiet. It has a fridge, safe and excellent WiFi!
The breakfast was excellent with an excellent variety of food, all the fruit was fresh and freshly squeezed orange juice! It had a good selection of pastries and bread. We also had lunch in the car and it was delicious and good value. You can also get coffee and drinks there, as it is a cafe open to public.
Finally, it has really lovely staff!

This is a well-located hotel, right in the middle of Valladolid. Our room overlooked the square so it was a little noisy, but was fine when we had the window closed. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. However, what made our stay so good were the very helpful and friendly reception staff.

We stayed here for one night, whilst driving from the UK to Portugal.
The hotel is centrally located and has underground parking on site. Parking is interesting, as you take the lift immediately to the side of the hotel (once you've checked in) parking spaces are tight!
The hotel is clean and very pleasant, centrally.located and within walking distance of all the main attractions.
We didn't eat in the hotel as there were plenty of bars and restaurants in Valladolid.

I come down often to this hotel. It is on plaza de espana in city center and not noisy at night. You can easily walk to the train station as well as the streets full of little boutiques and the main plaza
However the interior is dark day and night.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. I miss a kettle though.

A late booking meant I had to try a new hotel in the city, so had little expectations but overall well pleased. walking to Hotel easy from Campo Grande and location good for further exploring of the key ares of the city either as a tourist or for business. Rooms good quality and sleeping comfortable (even with room facing Plaza de Espana and window open), didn't use the food facilities but good overall impression will be added to my list of hotels when staying in the city.

Hotel difficult to find. Sat Nav said I had arrived but where was it? It's entrance is in a pedestrian walkway area. In order to get to it in a car one has to drive in the pedestrian area....Felt a bit guilty driving through the hoards of walkers. After seeing the person on the front desk I was told the parking was next to the entranceway and they would open the electronic door for me to gain access. Getting in to the lift was tight but made it okay. Getting into garage area a few floors down was also okay. But getting out of the garage was another matter......Damage to my nice BMW cabriolet sustained trying to get in the lift to exit the garage was extensive and the experience was an absolute nightmare. Repairs done inexpensively for me back in the UK by a friend (in the business) still cost me over £1000! When I told the receptionist of the problem I had been through I got the expected response that I am sure is used very often...."the parking is at your own risk and we are not responsible for any damage". I inspected the garage after the event and found that there was a substantial amount of damage to the pillars and wall next to the lift entrance done by previous people parking. It became obvious that many people had experienced the same problem as me.

Room, okay but rowdy people in the market area at rear of hotel screaming throughout the night. Frankly I find it difficult to write a positive review as a couple of nights staying at this hotel amounted to around £1500. It was a choice of spending that myself or the loss of my 10yr + no claim car insurance bonus.

Room tip: Arrive by taxi. Do not use the car park!!!!!!

Dear David, we thank you for your valoration and the time you took to write us your opinion. This is so important for us.

First, we are very sorry about the incident that you had with your car. As the recepcionist said you, it can not be our problem because each one drives in a different way, and like you have seen down in the parking there are many imperfects produced by the drivers. It is imposible for us to take care of ALL the damages, like a scratch, produced in the vehicles who enters in our private parking.

We apologise again and we take note of the rest of your commentaries to verify it and make the pertinent changes.

Sincerely ELE ENARA BOUTIQUE HOTEL
