Good hotel near centre of valladolid

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 1 Sept 2019
Close to centre and within walking distance. Arriving by car it's a bit difficult to find and the parking sign is mostly obscured by a tree. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast excellent with a most competent chap on duty in dining room. Reception staff OK but could be a bit more friendly. Parking area completely secure but a bit tight to enter and park. Cost €11per day which I think was discounted for booking direct with Silken. There's a pay public parking area next door but I don't know how the price compares. At the time of our visit (late August 2019) the cafeteria and part of the reception area were being renovated and they looked a bit untidy. All in all it's a good to very good hotel.

Dear client,
Thanks a lot for your commentaries about the hotel. We are glad that you like the hotel and also we want to apologize for the inconveniences about the air conditioning in the room. As you being able to see, all the interior rooms have a big window but without exterior views, much less noisy than the exterior ones. All of these rooms have connected the air conditioning the hole year. We want to apologize if we didn’t explain you how to make it works. All of the employers in reception speaks English fluently because all of the have the First Certificate program validated, so I don´t understand pretty well why you think they don´t speak English, I will talk with the reception department so . We hope to see you again.

We had booked this hotel without really reviewing it and we were very happy with it, the receptionist was very pleasant on our arrival. We got there early and decided to go in and see if our room was available, it was and when we got to the room they had left a bottle of wine as a gift (really nice touch). The bed was massive and really comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Great value overall. The location is on a nice boulevard which is peaceful through the night but only a 10 minute walk to get to some more lively spots.

Everything was very good with the exception of the service in the bar. The hotel is situated in a quiet area very near to the city center. The beds are one of the bests that I ever had in a hotel. I recommend it for a visit to the city.

We stayed in this hotel as a group in May 2018. We had 4 families of 4 people each staying in family rooms, which are just 2 connected regular rooms. There was nothing special about this hotel, but it was clean and comfortable. Parking was a bit difficult to get in and out of but it was sufficient. Location for tourism purposes was not great, it was quite a walk into the center. Although if had gone with just adults we would not have minded the walk so much.

It's a nice hotel overlooking a very large boulevard with lots of trees. The view from my 7-floor room was as I was above a large forest. Really nice!
The room was large, the bed queen size. Very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast at the restaurant was good - plenty of choices - fresh fruits, hot meals, salami, cheese, milk, etc. And what is very important to me as a coffee lover - good espresso.
The city center is about 15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi (around 4 EUR).

Room tip: Ask for a room overlooking the boulevard
