We stopped in whilst in Toledo and really enjoyed wandering around for half an hour or so. The monastery is beautiful and has some interesting heritage but highlight is definitely the inner courtyard filled with orange trees. At less than €3 to visit this is a lovely diversion in Toledo.

We had free entry to the Monastery with our Toledo card and made good use of it. The clositer and courtyard are so beautiful as are all the carvings all around. The chapel is beautiful as well. Take some time to sit and appreciate all the beauty of this place. Visiting in the off-season resulted in a serene, relaxing visit that will be remembered for a long time.

Beautiful building, very serene invites contemplation. Large church connected. And audio guide on own telephone. However, the protection net contained a dead bird...
