“good food”

Mercado Municipal Nuestra Senora de Africa

I love markets, but this one will always remain as a special one in my heart. It's close to the buss stop.I't full of amazing products and amazing food. If you want to try the local food this is where you can find affordable and very good traditional food.

Forget the fresh produce, bakeries, jewellery stalls and cafe-bars. What you REALLY want is to seek out the spice shop that sells incense guaranteed to ward off sexual jealousy or hasten a proposal of marriage!

Big market where you can find everything. Local fruits, spices, teas and flowers in a great selection. A lot of other southern fruits, flesh, fish ... Excellent and clean

There you can find nice fruits and veggies, herbs, tea houses, organic shops, home made ice cream/desserts and some artisans with their art. It's definitely worth the visit. Usually, every Sunday until 3 p.m. there is a big flea market on the streets surrounding. Recommend it!

I liked very much this market , I came in the evening not realizing they close at 2pm and its a shame !
I came back another day earlier and its a great place for fish and meats either take home or eat in !
there are also souvenir shops and anything food , cheeses vegis etc .
the building is nice old world Spanish style . I would have loved to eat there dinner but wasn't possible .
worth a visit if you are in the area !
