You can see many of the plants in these gardens growing locally but it only cost us three euro each to get in and was worth about an hour of wandering round, especially if you like taking close up photographs of interesting flowers and tropical plants.

It's easy to loose a couple of hours here, wandering along the many paths through the incredible trees and plants, especially as the shade is very welcome on a hot day, as is the peaceful atmosphere. As others have mentioned it can get a little repetitive in terms of plant/tree species but that doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the place and, although there's no cafe, there are plenty around for pre or post visit refreshments.

Depending on your fitness level, it's a bit of a trek to the gardens from the centre of town so can definitely recommend getting the bus on the way up if nothing else! Across all of the different routes that will take you there, there's a bus around every 20 minutes or so on weekdays from the bus station on calle Hermanos Fernandez Perdigon and the journey costs 1.35 Euros each way. Someone in the information office will be able to point you in the direction of the correct bus, as will the info on the Titsa.com website.

This long established acclimatisation garden has an impressive collection of plants. Very restful to stroll among the exotic trees and flowers.

Costs only 3e to visit and definitely worth a visit. We visited at a quiet time & enjoyed listening to the birds & walking through the gardens. Not a lot of colour but some amazing trees.

These garden contain numerous examples of plants, shrubs and trees from around the world. They are truly a sight to behold.
Tip-arrive early to avoid the coach parties which can block your view.
