Elaine was very helpful and was very quick to reply to any queries. Apartment was very nice and a stones throw from the pool.
Patio was very spacious and good sunbeds.
Would recommend to family and friends.

This is a very nicely appointed ground floor apartment in a great location accessed by a peaceful walkway with views up on to the golf course , ideal for 2 people but using folding beds up to 4 we understand. Very comfortable furnishings, and well equipped too. TV with all the main English channels and even a few local English speaking radio stations. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out, full kitchen with a big fridge freezer, washing machine, safe, and good security. All very clean and well maintained. Temperatures were in the high 20's during our stay and we would have appreciated a fan especially in the bedroom which got very hot. It is an odd thing that all apartments of this kind always seem to use horrible heat producing spotlights instead of cooler low energy bulbs that would also save the owners money, one or two things for our for the charming and helpful host Elaine to consider? We don't think you will get better value than Aeries 152. The shared pool just feet away is beautiful and spotless. There are a number of friendly restaurants within a few hundred yards, sadly we think they all share one kitchen! The food is ok but totally lacking in imagination and all serve up traditional English stodge, even the over priced Chinese serves fish and chips and the Chinese menu is standard "Chinese". We go abroad to try the local cuisine and customs, you will a car to do this from Amarilla Golf which we love for the peace and quiet (except for the low flying aircraft that you soon learn to ignor). You need not go far to find some excellent Canarian Tipico restaurants. Shopping is easy, there is well stocked but pricey supermarket in the village, car hire. dry cleaners, and more. There is usually a taxi waiting for business if you do not have a car. There are superstores (large Mercadona) about 2 miles Lidls, and many more about 3 miles, there is even a fake Iceland selling "English" food of you must. there is a wifi service of sorts in the village but it is hopelessly slow and expensive, buy a Spanish wifi dongle, it will work better and faster! As we have said we love Amarilla golf although we do not actually play the game, but the courses provide lots of green spaces with plenty of pretty walks around the boundaries of the course, plus of course the coast path that less abled would need to take care on. The huge but under used marina makes a nice walk with a handy bar for refreshment at the end of the harbour arm but little else. A little further and the restaurant options are almost endless but unfortunately many fall in to the same catergory as above but there are at least some exceptions. All in all this is a great place to stay especially Aries 152 which is by far the best of many we have stayed in at Amarilla and certainly the best value. Ideal for a chill out in the sun or if you have a car a great base from which to explore. Try to avoid the TF1 motorway, the standard of Canarian driving is appalling so head inland for a real treat and see the real Canaries or if you want the bright lights etc they are not far away in Los Cristianos or Las Americas, personally we go there just once for the amazing Carmen Mota flamenco based theatre show, not cheap but a wonderful cultural experience. Thanks Elaine for a lovely stay, we will certainly be back.

Booking was easy. Once booked Elaine was very quick to respond with answers to any question asked.
Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was kept very clean and was just around the corner from apartment and so was the Aries bar with very good food and happy hour 12:00 - 18:00 and 1euro a pint. Owners Martin & Jenny along with the staff all very friendly with entertainment most nights.
Weather was very good was nice to be able to walk around in T shirts.
Car is recommended
will be booking again next year that’s for sure
