Not having researched the castle we unwisely walked through the rather boring harbour area to find the castle and on first sight it seemed dull. However the entrance fee for seniors was only 2 euros per person so we went ahead. The castle has been adapted in a brilliant and entirely appropriate way to provide a back drop for the original and inspiring sculptures of Martin Chorizo. We do not see ourselves as 'arty' but we were thrilled and spent far longer there than we planned. Sadly we had the place to ourselves. Even amateur culture lovers really should try this one. It's amazing.

We really like visiting castles and on the outside that is what this is. Inside it is an art gallery and not that exciting. That would be OK but there are no details available about the castle, just about the art. Entrance fee of 4€/2€ for seniors. Not allowed to take any bags in there or bottled water and the staff watch you like hawks. Did I have a bag with SWAG written on it before I came in? My parents didn't like some of the glass floors as they felt unsafe.

The castle is smaller than looks in the tourist map, and there is small park surrounding it. Nice place to rest going from one place to another, but not worth to plan a visit to it.

Bit disappointed as this is n9 longer a castle but is an art museum. No access to the roof for views. Toilets are good. Entry fee is €4.
