Not having researched the castle we unwisely walked through the rather boring harbour area to find the castle and on first sight it seemed dull. However the entrance fee for seniors was only 2 euros per person so we went ahead. The castle has been adapted in a brilliant and entirely appropriate way to provide a back drop for the original and inspiring sculptures of Martin Chorizo. We do not see ourselves as 'arty' but we were thrilled and spent far longer there than we planned. Sadly we had the place to ourselves. Even amateur culture lovers really should try this one. It's amazing.
