Excellent place for an overnight pit stop . They have good parking but it's a tricky place to find even using GPS. because it in the middle of the historic centre . It's advisable to book parking at this hotel but we only have a small /med size car and anything bigger would be a challenge. The hotel is in an excellent location for the sites (Roman remains a must ) and an evening visit to the Tapas bar area close by . The reception lady was excellent and recommended the Mercado Bodegas inthe Plaza Espana. Where we had some excellent tapas and wine before coming back into the tapas area. Well worth the visit.

Room Tip: High rooms are good

A smallish hotel right in the centre of Zaragoza. We managed to find it OK,in our hire car, but I had previously 'driven' the route on Street View and this proved invaluable when it came to do it for real. The hotel directions they give you are WRONG at one point - they tell you to turn right in front of the Old Market but you should turn LEFT!
Room was small but clean and comfortable.. Being so central there is quite a lot of late night street noise - from people, not cars, as this area is almost all pedestrianised.
One other point to note - the car parking in the basement is extremely tight and fairly claustrophobic. You might need to allow more than a few minutes to park and retrieve your car, and it would help if you can get someone to assist you. We were in space No 13 which was just about the worst of them all - took about 5 mins to manouever the car into place.

Room Tip: A room at the back would be quieter

Everything about this place struck me as perfect. The rooms are reasonably sized and the bathroom is generous. Everything is spotlessly clean and works very well from the hot showers to the speedy wifi. The reception staff are very helpful and speak fair English. In a first for us the room doors have double glazing and there is an additional sliding glass door plus roll down shutters. It was a dark and quiet room for sleeping. Our cistern broke and was fixed in a short time. The location was very central to all sights.

Even with a plan supplied by the hotel it was impossible to find at night so we had to hire a taxi to follow to get through the narrow back streets. We stayed in room 204 where the bed head wall was next to the marbled stairs so all footfall was heard. Also virtually opposite the lift to all floors so this was noisy. The walls are paper thin so any water movement and flushing of toilets sounds like a train rushing through. It was a challenge to fill the bath and bathe before the water ran down the plug hole. The floor also flooded because the shower drain in the middle of the floor was blocked. The parking is extra but if you have a small car you will be allocated a very small space and a large car parked next to you can make it very difficult to get out from. On the positives if you do not have a car it is central for all the museums and shops. We stayed 6 nights and expected it to be noisy outside due to its central location, however sleep deprivation was due to internal disturbance.

Room Tip: Avoid 204 as next to stairs

The walls of the bedroom are paper thin therefore everything can be heard. Our room was also next to the lift 212 so we had the constant up and down and the noise of people gathering waiting to get in and getting out of the lift. Also our room was described as having a balcony and forward facing. The balcony was so tiny you could not get your foot out and because it faced the street the noise continued until well after 3. In the morning. We had 2 sleepless nights
The breakfast was terrible, hard bread, cold tea and coffee, not worth the money, the tables were not cleared therefore people had nowhere to sit
Checking in took well over half an hour, 3couples in front of us, the last thing you need when you have travelled several hours on a motorbike
The rooms are basic but warm and reasonably comfortable
The big plus is the location which is central and easily walkable to the shops, bars, restaurants and the many fantastic sights

Room Tip: Do not choose 212 and do not have a street facing room
