I loved this hotel with a few caveats. The ambience is fun and quirky with little touches everywhere to make you smile. The location, in the heart of the Jewish quarter, provides easy access to everywhere in Seville from the Alcazar and the cathedral to lots of great restaurants to the golden tower and the river. Staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating and friendly. The hotel offers loads of amenities like Jacuzzi time, free bike loans, free afternoon tea and free bottled water and lovely breakfast (extra €8 or 9). The most awesome thing about the hotel is the patio/ courtyard around which many of the rooms area centered. Downsides: the room and bathroom needed a bit of maintenance (moldy bathroom ceiling & broken door handle) and awful fragrance in rooms from reed diffusers.

Dear SarahGinMD,

Thank you for your review and to share here on tripadvisor your experience with us.

We are really glad that you like your stay and our staff, we try to help our guest in all that we can, the decoration of the place give to our hotel linked with the courtyard give to the hotel a special atmosphere, ideal to relax on it.

We are located in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz one of the most charming places in Sevilla. Also perfect to visit the Cathedral with the Giralda, The Alcazar, Torre del Oro or Plaza españa. Any place is no far from 5-10 minutes walking from here, and we are also surrounded by lot of good places to eat.

We would like to inform you that we had a maintenance problem in the room above yours that it was fixed but for that night the hotel was full and we could not change to other room. About the door handle we did not know if would have known we would have fixed immediately. Our maintenance staff is always very aware and these kind of things do not use to happen. We regret for any inconvenience that this may caused you.

Thank you again for your comments and we will try to keep improving.

Best regards,

Carlos Vázquez

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and it is a beautiful historic hotel in the old part of the city.
The internal courtyard is an amazing, peaceful part of the hotel to relax before dinner, full of all types of plants and a small central water fountain to relax by.
The staff are friendly and very keen to help, the rooms vary as they seem to be individually designed, recently we booked the cheapest option and the room was quite small but adequate.
The room and ensuite was fresh and clean and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well too.
The only thing I would say is that we found the breakfast a little basic but it was ok.

Dear Paul T

Thank you very much for your review.

Our courtyard is one of the most characteristic thing in our hotel. we are located in a historic place of the city ideal to visit the city walking, despite of we are inside the city center is also a very paceful place at nights if you add our relaxing courtyard with the fountain in the middle exclusive for our guests, generally is a great mix to have a great experience.

Thanks a lot to give us that great mark

Best regards,

Carlos Vázquez

We booked the Romance package for two nights. The hotel is located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood and centrally located to many sights (within easy walking distance). It's a modest size boutique hotel. We arrived on an early flight, so were at the hotel before 11am. There was one young man at a desk in the lobby. I approached and told him my name. He immediately stated in a sharp voice, "You can not check in until three!" We were caught off guard by his rude tone. I stated I knew that and asked if he could secure or luggage until then. He said nothing, but took our bags to a side room. When we returned at 330pm another man was seated at the desk. He was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. What a nice change!

Our room was clean and comfy, but a bit crowded. Bed, bath and amenities were nice. We had an external view of buildings surrounding us and the street below. We utilized the rooftop jacuzzi, which was nice even though is was luke warm. Just a view of other buildings and rooftops. The morning breakfast was nice and adequate. With the Romance package we received an hour of lone jacuzzi time, a bottle of champagne and a romantic dinner at Antigua taverna de Las Escobas restaurant (well worth it)!

All in all it was a nice stay!

Dear John D,

Thank you to share your experience with us here on tripadvisor.

We are located in the old jewish neighborhood, it is one of the most historic places of Sevilla next to the main monuments like the Cathedral and the Alcazar just a few minutes from our hotel.
About the issue with the receptionist he is no longer working with us due to he did not meet the expectations of the company.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and your romactic dinner in Las Escobas.

Thank you again for your comments and we will try to keep improving.

We spent 4 delightful nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior of the hotel is an oasis of calm amidst the touristy old town of Seville. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed the lovely little courtyard in the center of the hotel along with the rooftop lounging area. The service was impeccable - no matter the time of day, whoever was on duty was very kind and helpful. This is a hotel to return to!

Room Tip: Superior double is worth the money!

Excellent location ,comfortable rooms looking onto a cool internal courtyard. Rooftop jacuzzi was fun although having to pay for it after your first free use seemed a bit "cheap". No kettle for tea or coffee in the room was also strange but all in all a good stay.

Dear bryan807,

Thank you very much for this review.

We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay at the hotel and the neighborhood where we are located. It is one of the most beautiful part of the city, in the old Jewish quarter and a place full of charm, narrow streets and many legends.
We would like to inform you that all our rooms are equiped with a kettle in the locker, if we would have known we would have kindly helped to find it.

We are glad that you enjoyed our jacuzzi with view to the Giralda.

We hope to see you soon again

Thank you,

Carlos Vázquez
