The location of the apartment is good, the apartment itself has two bedrooms with two en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked with all the gadgets one needs as well as some basic herbs and spices, in case one wants to cook.
However, the carpets in the living room are in severe need of replacement - they are threadbare and give the whole room a very worn out look.
The biggest problem with the apartment is its extremely erratic and basically non functional hot water system. On the first day, the hot water ran for 2 minutes and then stopped entirely. Two people came to 'fix' the problem which meant that the next day we got hot and freezing cold water, alternately, and the flow often went down to a trickle. In the winter, flowing hot water for a decent shower is the least one expects. Maria, the owner, did attempt to have the problem fixed but it seems the problem is 'unfixable' as this seems to be a instant gas geyser heating system which cannot handle more than one tap open at a time or produce more than two minutes of hot water at a stretch.
While this place is otherwise good, I recommend people stay here only if they don't care about taking a shower!
This was a very charming apartment, well equipped and nicely furnished. It is in a wonderful location with the Cathedral, Alcahazar, cafes, restaurants and shops all within a 'stones' throw of the Apartment. It doesn't look out over the plaza pictured on the website which the picture might imply, but out over the back, which nonetheless has a sunny and pleasant aspect. A number of the lights weren't working in the apartment which didn't hinder our enjoyment. It is an apartment for 4 people not 5. Staying there allowed you to feel part of Sevillian life, rather than a tourist. A great spot.
