We couldn’t find an AVE bullet train nonstop from Granada to Sevilla, so we took an AVE to Cordoba, camped out in the Renfe First Class lounge for a little more than an hour, then caught an ALVIA (still fast, but not as fast as AVE) to Santa Justa station in Sevilla. An easy cab ride took us to the front door of Aguilas5 Sevilla Suites, where each couple rented a contained apartment. We were upgraded to the penthouse, with a couple of small patios, a cold soaking pool, and a view of some other Sevilla rooftops. The apartments were very nice, although our bathroom and shower were tiny. There was a small kitchen, but we only used the refrigerator. The coffee maker was rather sad. But the bed and the living quarters were quite lovely, and the price was no more than a hotel. The staff, especially German at the front desk, were polite and most accommodating. German spent 15 minutes explaining the city to us, pointing out best sights. Also, the location is prime, within easy walking distance of everything most people want to see. Additionally, the Suites are directly across a small street from our favorite restaurant in all of Spain: Traga. This hotel is a real find.

Loved our short stay here last week. We travelled with our two young children and felt very well looked after in our stunning apartment. The staff on reception were very welcoming (Jose, gracias) and spoke perfect English. Their local knowledge was fantastic highlighting where to go, tips on buying tickets and equally importantly where to avoid. The location is perfect for a city break: right in the heart of the old town with a fantastic bakery (panypiu) across the road and shops, bars, a wee park and attractions all easily within walking distance. We would most certainly return. Thank you all.

Apartment was beautifully presented with a good sized kitchen and a decent sized shower. We stayed in the penthouse apartment.... worth the extra if it's available.... had 2 small private shaded balconies which were perfect for breakfast or an early evening drink. The roof terrace is also just outside your front door and as this is the only apartment on the top floor at times it felt like another private outdoor space! Service is superb, nothing is too much trouble.
You can't beat the location of Aguilas Suites with everything within easy walking distance and numerous wonderful bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Alfalfa Tapas Bar has a great atmosphere and excellent good value food. Directly opposite the apartments is El Traga..... fabulous innovative dishes. More expensive but worth it and try the Bonsai Tree chocolate dessert which almost look too good to eat.
