By pure chance and luck, we were in Seville during Holy Week. The Cathedral was closed everytime we walked by it, but on Wednesday morning, voila! it was open and it was incredible. We were blessed to be there when the clergy from every parish in the district came out of a side chapel singing and processing through the nave of this gorgeous Gothic cathedral. What a thrill to be in such a great cathedral during Holy Week.

Visited Seville Cathedral for the Palm Sunday celebration. We also got to attend mass at the chapel of the cathedral a few days before as well as in the main altar on Palm sunday.
We were impressed with the floor to ceiling gold altar and the vast collection of ancient religious artifacts. The high ceilings and the details in its design will awe you. There were also several small altars or ‘chapels’ on the side which are equally impressive. The architectural details both outside and inside the cathedral was really awesome. Its a must place to visit especially for the religious and art enthusiasts.

Must do. Take your time. Entry Ticket is 9€. Worth your time. Plan 3 hours for a detailed visit. 1 hour for a quicky.
Relious pilgrimage and history at its best

No more to add to what has already been said, except that the 2 local saints were spared by the lions, and so beheaded- some guides are wrong!

It is really great ! Nice to see it outside day and night time. Very nice inside. It is huge! Don't forget to go up on the top. Is not so difficult to go up. The nice view around it value to walk a little more...
