My wife and I had the pleasure of a three night weekend break, at this superb hotel. Check in was fast and efficient and even though we arrived before 12 noon, our room was ready. We had room 302. On the 3rd floor/terrace, with jaccuzi. Superb room, with stunning views of the cathedral at night The hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from the cathedral and is surrounded by lively tapas bars. Although we did not have breakfast at the hotel (€12 per person), due to the abundance of local tapas bars serving breakfast, it looked excellent. The complimentary afternoon teas were a nice gesture. Seville is a superb city, for a weekend break and I would recommend hotel casa 1800 as the place too stay. The only word of warning, for anybody visiting Seville, is ask the price of the taxi before you leave the airport. We were charged €45 from the airport to the hotel and only €25 for the return trip.

Agree totally with all the positive comments about the Casa 1800. I would note that the rooms facing the little square can be a bit noisy, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights when the Bodega Santa Cruz is open to 0100. This is not a problem with the hotel but if you are noise sensitive or on your dreaded first or second night of jet-lag, you may wish to specifically ask for a room which does not face out onto the plaza. that said, we loved the Casa and would absolutely return. The staff were amazingly helpful at all times of the day or night.

Room Tip: see comments re the noise if facing the plaza.

Terrific hotel. That was the thought that passed our mind as soon as we entered. It had a cozy feel to it right from the lobby on wards. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is right next to the cathedral, Jewish quarter and other major attractions of Seville. Right outside the entrance is a very popular and loud bar that is filled with locals at all times. We did not try it but it looked good. However once you enter the hotel you are in an oasis of peace. I could't hear any noise. All rooms are built around a central lounge where breakfast and afternoon tea are served. The afternoon tea is complimentary and great to help overcome hunger pangs that hit you around 7:30. Fresh flowers everywhere in the hotel and little nooks/lounges you can sit on. Rooms are tastefully decorated and clean and spacious. Bathrooms are modern and well designed. Free wifi in the room was also a great addition.

Breakfast was pretty comprehensive and you could order fresh cooked eggs.

Probably the best hotel we stayed at in Spain.

We LOVED everything about Casa 1800. Gorgeous design adapted to the original building so you get all the modern amenities but still get the old world charm. The deluxe room was beautiful. Small but very charming and had a second floor where the balcony with the Cathedral views was. Breakfast wasn't included but I thought it was very reasonable at 12 Euros per person. We did it all three mornings and highly recommend it.

The setting is very serene and gets you ready for exploring the city. The location couldn't be better. A block from the Cathedral and walking distance from most of the major sites. It's located in a very lively street with lots of restaurants, we recommend the italian restaurant right across from it (I forgot the name).

The service was impeccable. We dealt with about 6-7 different staff members at different times in the day and they were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend the hotel!
