Great location, room for a family at the price of a single hotel room. Rooftop deck is a big plus. Very difficult to locate, plan to be in phone contact with the local agent in order to find the place.
As 2 couples we stayed for 1 week. The location of the property is excellent and within around 10 mins walk of some of the popular tourist attractions - Cathedral and Real Alcazar. Within 1 min walk you have a local supermarket and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Our favourite places were Bar Augustin (2 mins walk); Bar Alfalfa (3 mins walk) for some great tapas - small cosy place; and El Rinconcillo for drinks - supposedly the oldest bar in Seville or Spain?. Recommend a flamenco show - Casa de la Guitar was 1 hour and provided dance, guitar and singing. Hotel Palacio Alcazar near the Cathedral has a lovely relaxing roof top bar which we enjoyed two jugs of sangria and some great views.
The Bell Ringer House provided plenty of space for us - separate bathrooms so not under each others feet. The terrace is fabulous overlooking the street/church area and great to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and pre-evening drinks. There are 3 flights of steps within the house for each level but don't let that put you off. Would definitely recommend to friends.
We stayed for five nights in the Bell Ringer's house. Elena was responsive to my emails and booking went smoothly. We were met by a representative at the house and given keys. There were the makings for gazpacho stocked for us. There was a nespresso machine and pods there as well. I would describe the best part of the house as the location. The house is set between two charming squares and both had a great ambiance with cafes and shops. The house about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and as described, actually part of the Cathedral del Salvador block. The house had some charming appointments like the colorful traditional bathroom, kitchen and the terrace. There are a lot of stairs! One flight up to enter the first floor bedroom, one flight more to living room, 5 steps up to the kitchen/bathroom and then one more flight to the top bedroom and terrace. All had rails which really helped after a long day of sightseeing. This did provide a bit of a workout! One minor complaint, we found that the dishware was really limited. There were no bowls suitable for mixing or having cereal for instance. The A/C was functional on all floors and there was plenty of room. The beds were quite comfortable. There was the expected street noise from the lively street and squares, and the newer windows did a decent job of blocking out a good bit of it. We found it quite pleasant to open the windows in the morning to hear the sounds of the street. The terrace views were great. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. Try the tapas and coffee at Europa Cafe on Plaza Jesus de la Passion, just a 20 second walk away. The staff there were really kind and the food was great.
