I have never stayed in a "boutique" hotel before, and this was a marvellous surprise ! Beautiful clean, authentic, old Spanish interior, and a delightful "suite", which unexpectedly, included a jacuzzi bath. Great position for Alhambra, and for exploring the old part of Granada ; and for such a classy place, reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Our room was facing Alhambra, but you could not see much of it. It was above the little street below, but we were not disturbed .

This hotel is in the old town in a great location for all the major tourist things. You can walk everywhere if you want a bit of exercise or take a mini city bus near by which costs €1.20/ way to the Alhambra or to the Albazine, both being about a 15 min walk uphill. We had 2 rooms, a double which has an equivalent to a queen size American bed and a triple with the same queen bed and another twin. Both rooms were very roomy, one had a jacuzzi tub and the other had a big shower. The place was very clean and so charming. The hotel had been converted from an old 17th century residence. If you get an outside facing room, beware that it can be loud at night. There is great air conditioning in every room, a mini fridge, good wifi and lots of nooks to hang out and have a drink or socialize. Some of the rooms you only have stairs to access them. If you plan to visit the Alhambra document yourself with what you need to do prior to your visit, since it's always very crowded and very confusing.

The hotel location is great and the rooms are very quaint. Very close to Alhambra which was the reason for selecting this place.
However we are travelling with 4 heavy bags and had to haul them up 3 flights of stairs as there was no lift to our room. Some rooms have lift access though. We could also hear dripping from the air con all night and when the room above flushed the toilet, we heard all the water running.
We arrived by car and were told he parking was 2km away do we had to negotiate the small streets to get there and get a taxi back. The hotel reimbursed us for the taxi, however when we checked out, we had to pay for the taco ourselves. Doesn't seem right really considering the price we paid for the room. And of course we had to jail all our luggage down to the street without any help from hotel staff. Not the best service I am afraid !
Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Dear Guest. Many thanks for your nice comment referring the Palacio Mariana Pineda. We are glad to know that you appreciated the location. Being a XVII Century building, the original construction is conserved and there´s no possibility of lift on the main patio.
The hotel is situated in a restricted area that is why the hotel strongly recommends parking the car in one of the two parking it has agreement with. The Hotel allows you to take a taxi to reach the hotel for the first time and the taxi is refunded.
Please be assured, we do value all feedback from our guests and your comment has been reviewed with our team and corrective actions are taken to improve the quality of our service.
We have checked our pipeline system and at this moment is working well, thanks for your review. I hope you could notice the improvement in you next stay.
You ´ll have 15% discount if you reserve directly with the Hotel.

We stayed here during our visit to Granada. We found the hotel to be typical of a "3" star hotel in Europe. It was clean, simple and a good value. They have a family room which allows four people to stay in one room. The toilet/shower area is larger than most hotels in Europe which was nice. The service was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the construction next door, which started early. The location is fantastic.
