We stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed. Located right on the waterfront so you can watch the world go by as you eat. Reasonable prices and nice food. The sardines were very nice and the service was good. We would come here again.

The great thing about La Carihuela is the vast choice in places to eat. The restaurant Cervera is right on the Paseo and popular with Spanish people, which says a lot. We had never eaten here before, but enjoyed three great lunch-time visits on this holiday, and we'll definitely return. The friend Padron Peppers were delicious, as was the Rosada Alioli, the grilled Rosada, and two chicken dishes. House wine was excellent too, and the bill didn't break the bank.

We haven't been to The Carihuela for a few years but when we visited this month, the first place we looked for to eat was here. Good food, fantastic prices, great value for money and family run too. We had a paella for two, good size and all fresh ingredients. It was as we remember, scrumptious. We also had calamari to start, lovely and fresh in a light batter. Of course bread comes with it, along with aliole to dip in. We also had tinto verano to drink. It now comes on bottles and tastes as good as home made. You must try this small family run restaurant if you go to the carahuela.

While on holidays in La Carihuela recently my Husband and I popped in for lunch to Cervera restaurant. It is a small family run restaurant . It is mostly seafood freshly caught. The staff are nice and helpful. We both had fresh herrings cooked in oil with potatoes and salad. We will be back again next year. It was reasonably priced.

We had a nice lunch, then a couple of days later went for evening meal. I'd asked for Spanish potatoes instead of chips on my main meal and they were dreadful, rock hard and a funny taste, so were left. My fish was good but lacked seasoning. The starters were OK and my partners meal was too. So overall OK but not wow as per last year.

Every time we passed we looked for the older lady and she wasn't about. Not sure if this is something to do with it. It just needs to get the magic back,
