Location: Couldnt get closer to the beach literally just over the road

Reception: Always more than happy to help you, they have a lot of local knowledge and information to offer including maps and personal experience

Cleanliness: Hotel is very clean and kept to a high standard

Bar staff: could do with more bar staff on as sometimes it can be long to get a drink but other than that theyre great especially “mame” who is hilarious and made us laugh every time

Food: Very nice food here one of the best hotels ive been to for the food with fatima the chef doing an amazing pasta and mussels and its on more or less all day up until half 9 at night. Also they will make breakfast specially if your excursion is early.

Walking into the lobby was a real put off I don’t know what the smell was but it was there throughout our stay ,the staff were friendly and helpful the rooms really needed updating but had nice balconies the food in the restaurant was average for a hotel of this size I think this hotel caters more for the elderly guest . The hotel is situated ok for the train which is about a 10 min walk but if I went back to Torremolinos I would stay further down the strip as this hotel was the last one which I found to far out of the way , I just expected it to be a bit better it’s more of a 2/3 star hotel.

Having learned that around 60% of the negative reviews on here are more personal gripes than honest reviews I tend to go to places with a more open mind. This is certainly true here. The hotel is excellently paced, it is straight across the road from a great beach and there is a bus stop right outside. It is 15 minutes drive from the airport and looks nice from the outside. The staff are great and helpful. Everyone I met spoke enough English to understand what we needed. The place is immaculate. It is clean and staff are always around. Toilets are well maintained throughout the day and cleaners always running around cleaning up after lazy People who tend just to drop stuff and leave it.

The food is good. There is usually something that you would enjoy although it won't be to everyone's taste every night but should be enough there that you could get a meal out of. The dessert selection is brilliant as is the cold buffet. It is the usual large restaurant dining room and can be busy but the quickness of the staff clearing and cleaning as well as the staff seating you usually meant a wait of no more than 5 minutes. I was all inclusive and the usual spirits and beer is offered but no large brands. The soft drinks for the kids are accessable at all times as well as fresh fruit juices as well. There is also free ice cream and burgers, hot dogs and toasties available at the pool bar.

Now for the small gripes. Although the outside temperature was 20-23c the pool was freezing. Far too cold to stay in for long, the actual sea across the road was warmer. Although not the hotels fault there is a constant stream of people going to the pool at 8am to put their towels out then go for breakfast before eventually turning up at 10. Throwing their towels away seemed to upset them so that made up for it. The rooms, although basic, were very clean. You have air conditioning/heating. They are also stocked with new and sealed toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, combs, shoe shine brushes and shower caps. The rooms can be cleaned daily of you want. The local shops are around a 5 minute walk with a larger selection another 5 minutes further. There is a very large selection of eating and drinking places and a lot of them are very reasonably priced.

Overall the place is well kept and clean. It is very well placed and shops are 5 minutes away. Local transport is available right outside or the reception staff will get you a taxi. Well worth staying at and we enjoyed our time there.

Despite the reviews you see on here this hotel is fairly good. The food is decent although sometimes a bit cold. Microwaves are available in the dining room which does help but this is not the solution to the problem.
The meals can be a bit samey but always adequate and of decent quality.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and in a good state of repair.

The staff throughout the hotel are excellent particularly the bar staff Martha and Mame who were always helpful and professional. Always smiling.
The pool bar was also good but I forgot the ladies name, the guy at the pool bar was called Jesus, he was also very good.

The location of the hotel is ok but a bit far from the resort center. This is not a problem as the M123 bus stop is right outside the hotel.

At night time however the last bus back from town or Benelmadena is 22.00 so make sure you plan your night out as a taxi back to the hotel will cost €20 easy and it is 4.5 miles of a walk back.

On the whole not too bad a place, beach just across the road.
Loads of sunbeds at thr hotel at all times of the day.
Entertainment not great in the hotel at night but during the day there is a kids club and other activities like archery, rifle shooting and bowls for the adults.
Tennis court and five a side football/ basketball court available free.
Too far from the biz for me and my wife, would not stop me coming back though.

Booked this holiday as part of a Jet2 package deal, flying from Newcastle. They say first impressions have a lasting effect and this certainly was the case for our stay. The apartment we were allocated was in dire need of a re-vamp (very dated), I wouldn’t have wanted my dog to sleep on the beds, they were not fit for purpose and throughout our stay didn’t get a one good night sleep. The main hotel was very clean, but the restaurant food was very repetitive and not at all what I would expect for a 4* rating. The atmosphere could be likened to a retirement home with absolutely no entertainment to speak of. Granted it was out of season, but old time dancing !! We certainly won’t be making a return visit to this hotel if you are young (my partner and I are not btw) I would not recommend this hotel.
