“Great value.”

Stayed in the hotel for one night post cruise. It really is very handy for the cruise port and all of Malaga's many attractions. The room was comfortable if a little basic, but this is an old building full of "character". Staff very friendly and welcoming. We got to the hotel at ten in the morning, and were lucky enough to get into our room right away.
We could not get breakfast as we left too early on the Sunday and breakfast did not start till nine o'clock.
The bus from the airport stops right outside this hotel, and the bus going to the airport stops right across the street. Cost is 2 euro per person as opposed to 25 euro in a taxi. Journey time is 30 minutes.
Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main road

I went to stay here for 8 days with my AS Spanish class from college. The hotel boasted free high speed wifi, being close to the beach, and to the high street, restaurant downstairs and safes in all the rooms. Well I can assure you that you won't be disappointed. Wifi there was indeed, although it did take some time figuring out how to use it (one password per person). The location of the hotel cirtainly was near to all of the main attractions: beach - 15min walk, lexis school - 10 min walk, high street - 30 seconds, super market and fabulous traditional spanish market - 5 min walk. Excelent! There was a restaurant downstairs, however I wouldn't recommend it. Nothing was particularly wrong with it, but it was a bit over priced and had a limited menu. Go to one of the many restaurants next door to the hotel. You get a more Spanish experience and a lot more food for some remarkable deals! We had a few problems with the sames in a couple of students rooms, however ours and the majority of others worked just fine so we were able to stash our valuables without worry. One other point was that the receptionists were so kind and always had our best interests at heart - happy to direct us somewhere, greet us, etc.
All in all it was a very enjoyable stay at the hotel venecia!

I stayed here in February during a short break in Malaga. The hotel is spacious and the rooms on the generous side. I elected to have breakfast in my package, which was served in the cafe downstairs, which is also open to the public. The fare was simple, just juice, coffee and a large croissant, with a choice of spreads. Everything went very smoothly, and when I had difficulty using the security box, staff came up from downstairs to sort it out immediately and without fuss. Overall, this hotel is quite charming and retains an Edwardian air, with its wide corridors and huge mirrors on each floor. I will certainly use it again, as it is close to the old city and to the paseo that leads to the beach. hope they don't turn it into another boutique hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back, which I had, are apparently quieter.

We stayed for a week. The hotel was very clean and the staff most helpful. Right in the city centre by the airport bus stop. Bed was a bit hard though.

Bed and breakfast for a week for 402 Euros through booking.com

Couldn't be better

This was a great find. The airport express bus dropped us off right outside the hotel door. The hotel is in the heart of the city so no need to take taxis or buses - we could walk to all the sites, shopping, and the market. Although it was listed as a budget hotel we found it to be perfect for our needs. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Some reviews we read said that being close to the main street there was a lot of traffic noise but the hotel seemed to have been recently renovated with double glazed windows to cut out the noise so we had no problem. We booked with booking.com and got a steal of a deal at 49 Euros a night, which is about half they were charging at the chain hotels across the street. Breakfast was not included but was available for 4 Euros, which was cheaper than local restaurants.

Internet access was free but limited to the lobby area only.
