So your going to Malaga, don’t really need or want a car (Hire). Where do you stay? Well this hotel is a very central location - right in centre of the city hub, the Cathedral is round the corner, the shopping is around the opposite corner and the Castel is just the other side of the Church. The port is just a short strol away.
The hotel is not, and just let me characterise this properly, a vacation type of hotel where you want a pool or a very active bar. This hotel caters for the city visitor, who is going to eat out every lunch and night time (in my opinion). The rooms are functional and very clean. Bathroom very well maintained and clean. Shower in out room had plenty of power.
I can be picky on Accomadation but can put up with most stuff- the missus - not so much, be she commented that the room was great!.
We thought it was excellent value and had a nice continental breakfast include in our rate.
Also a big plus for us was they looked after our bags on departure day as we had to check out for them to rotate the room and our flight was very late.
The reception was small enough, the staff were not exactly bubbly , but were very helpful with information. They would never be considered rude - so that was good too.
If I was every back in Malaga I would definitely give this a chance again. No hesitation in recommending it as long as you get a rate your happy with!

Very good location. Good room size, clean and excellent breakfast. Also you can serve dinner which is very good balance quality - price. Its central location is giving you the possibility to visit many sites in Malaga and shop as well. May is a good month to go in Malaga as it is not too hot.

Just back from 3 nights at this hotel. Clean comfortable, perfect location.
Would strongly recommend staying here. Malaga really nice also.
Small shop right next door too which made buying water and wine very easy and affordable.

This hotel was recommended to us by friends who have already used it a few times. Great location for a short shopping and sightseeing trip to Malaga.Close to cathedral,Picasso museum, marina and beach..Clean, simple and efficient..we were able to catch airport bus within a two minute stroll for 3 euro each.
Would recommend Don Curro to anyone looking for a secure, well priced and convenient location to explore the best this fabulous city has to offer.

We stayed here for 5 nights in April. It was our second visit to this hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much as the hotel is in a good location in the cultural centre of Malaga. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice furnishings.
The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again when visiting the lovely city of Malaga.
