Stayed for three nights (Fri to Sun incl.) and a two bedroom suite. The room was large, nicely decorated and kept very clean. Cannot fault the service provided by the staff and were made to feel welcome by all. The rooftop pool is great but sadly was frequented by people who hogged the limited number of sunbeds. I realise this is normal at a resort hotel but I didn’t expect it in a city centre hotel where the pool is probably meant for occasional use. Didn’t eat at the hotel part from breakfast which was a good buffet and reasonably priced. Hotel location is superb for getting around town.

First time in Malaga and by happy with this hotel.
Had upgrade to Junior Suite on arrival, room 402, which was obviously a bonus.
Snacks and drinks available on VIP level 4.
Modern, clean hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Ate at two restaurants suggested by hotel, which were excellent.
Medieval wall on show underneath hotel, which was interesting.
A couple of things for the hotel to think about.
Evening drinks would be better if available from 7 not 8.
More still water should be available in rooms at no charge.
Suggest that the bed is repositioned on ground floor and lounge moves up onto mezzanine. Cooler downstairs and nearer to wardrobes and bathroom.
Just a suggestion, but overall very good.
Great location and close to old town.
Enjoyed the stay.

This hotel is very well located: meters away from the streets leading to the old town which is the main touristic attraction of Malaga.
You may enjoy having your breakfast in one of the resturants in the neighbourhood.

We have just stayed spent 4 nights at the Vinci Seleccion Posada del Patio. The hotel was selected due to its proximity to the centre of Malaga. It is within easy walking distance of shopping and main attractions.

On arrival, despite being early, our room was ready. Check in was a little lengthy but acceptable. Having booked room only, we were offered breakfast, for the full duration of our stay at a cost of 14 euros each. The usual price is 18 euros. We declined.

Lifts to all floors are available and quick.

The second floor room was spacious. The temperature could be easily controlled and the bathroom seemed great- with both bath and shower. It wasn't until the shower was used that we noticed how the water ran along the shower screen and onto the floor. This could not be avoided, despite trying.

Fluffy white gowns and slippers were provided. Ample shampoo/ shower gel etc were replenished daily.

There is a kettle and tea/ coffee in the room. This was welcome, although only 3 milk jiggers were left daily. Surprisingly for a 5star hotel, there was no bottled water supplied. This had to be purchased. I was pleased to find a safe - which did not have an additional cost.

We tried out the rooftop pool once. It opens at 9 and on the day of my visit I was the only one there. The ladders seemed a bit wobbly. Sunloungers and plenty of towels are supplied. The pool closes at 8pm. Food and drinks can be ordered on the roof during the day.

In the basement of the hotel there is a mini museum. Worth a visit.

The Jazz Bar was spacious and a welcome cool temperature. Antonio, behind the bar, was fabulous. He was friendly, attentive and offered good advice - for example by finding a map and directing a family member to the train station. Jazz events occur Fri and Sat evenings so we did not experience this. However, Antonio was great!

Room service was good. Housekeeping was effective - although other 5 star establishments I have stayed in have provided an evening 'turn down' service.

On the final night I was disturbed from my sleep around 1am- with a delivery I hadn't ordered. Perhaps a room mix up?

Overall, this has been a pleasant visit to Malaga. The hotel is very good, although a few aspects have resulted in me not giving full marks.
