I would love for the management to stay one night at this hotel! They will see how short and rude their staff is, they would have the misfortune of experiencing how horrible and hard their beds are, and they will discover that their breakfast is so expensive and ridiculous.

We stayed here for almost a week, but only because we couldn't find other lodging during this season. The pillow menu was nice, their working AC was nice, but i have to tell you about their expensive breakfast.... They wanted 16 Euros per person, per day! Why?? We were able to walk to the beach, enjoy the fresh breeze/scenery and have the same breakfast at the Italian joint for just 2.50 Euros per person! Their bar prices were also outrageous, so we went to the convenient grocery store across from the park to get our drinks and snacks.

Parking at this hotel was also very expensive and for no reason. At 16 Euros per day, it was definitely a robbery. You have to take a taxi if you hope to get to the city, because the hotel is far away from most of the action. We made a request to have a good view, which management just ignored and stuck us on a lower floor with no views.

Overall, the hotel offers little to nothing to cater to customers and to help make our stay enjoyable and special. We know that there are better places out there, you just have to book elsewhere in advance and don't get stuck like we did.

Room Tip: Nothing! Management won't care and won't consider your request

VincciHoteles, Director General at Vincci Malaga, responded to this reviewResponded 23 June 2018

Dear guest, we would like to begin by thanking you for your preference in selecting Vincci Malaga for your holidays in Málaga, as well as for the time you have taken to share your comments with us.

We are pleased to know that you value aspects as positive as our pillows menu or AC, but we regret if your stay at our hotel did not meet your expectations completely due to the situations described in your review. You may rest assured that each of your comments have already been forwarded to our area supervisors, in order for them to take them into consideration for amelioration purposes.

We regret that the room was not to your liking. All clients who are not satisfied with their rooms are welcome to contact reception, as we are always pleased to offer any available options to enable guests to select what most meets their tastes and requirements.

Regarding our buffet breakfast, we would like to inform you that the price is 15 €. At all times we try to offer varied, top-quality options, among which our customers can find everything that they might desire. And so our breakfasts include, among other products: Nespresso and American coffee, 8 types of teas or infusions, 4 sorts of milk 5 fresh whole fruit, 5 cut fruit and 2 compote, more than 10 types of pastries and cakes, 4 types of cereals, 6 types of cold cuts, 5-6 types of cheeses, more than 10 different types of bread, 2-3 sorts of tomato (slices, crushed and cherry), 4 juices, 5-6 types of jams, honey, chocolate, Spanish potato omelet, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables, pies, 5 types of yogurts, diet foods corner, Malaga corner with 5 types of pâté, champagne, etc. Also, if you missed any other product, it could have been communicated.

Concerning our prices, they are in the average of the 4 star hotels in the city and bars in the area as well as the price of our private parking.

In respect of the location, we are located 3 kilometers from the downtown of Malaga, being the only 4* hotel in Malaga which is opposite the beach. There is a taxi rank in front of the hotel, a bus stop behind and and a beautiful promenade that takes you to the city center. In addition to the beach, next to the hotel you can find West Park, Russian Museaum, Cars Museum, a great selection of the best restaurants in Málaga and a long etcetera.

Our staff is known for offering exquisite treatment and attention to all our customers. We are sorry you did not feel that was the case.

The majority of our clients who choose to stay with us leave very positive feedback, and for this reason we are sorry to hear that your expectations were not met on this occasion.

We are at your service for anything that you may need.

Kind regards

Enrique Martín-Aragón

Great hotel right by the beach. Big rooms, very clean. All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. Not so close to the town centre, but with good restaurants and a very nice park just nearby. Ideal for a break.

Very professional international hotel. It does what you'd expect for the price. Only negative was aircon poor in the room. Had a 5th floor sea-facing. Very helpful service desk. We only used the breakfast buffet on our checkout day as we prefer to use traditional eateries for lunch.
A short walk to the bus stop for Malaga old town. Took longer/further out than expected about 20 minutes from old town. Taxis are outside the door.
Very good traditional eateries a couple of blocks behind the hotel where you can mix with locals and have great food at good value. Good beach bars eateries just outside on the beach but all closed in the evening when we were there May.

Room Tip: Are 6 floors and we were sea-facing on 5th floor which cuts down the traffic noise, but wasn't obtrusive, as the Seaview makes up.
