This is our second visit in the past three years. Location is excellent and the house is big enough for a large family. Easy to contact the property manager.Very clean and lots of towels! We did notice that the electrics are playing up this time and needs a bit of a freshen up as power was going off and live wires exposed in the bedroom. We would very much like to come back next year but only if these issues were fixed :)
10 of us stayed here 17-24th July 2018, ages 75-6
We stayed for 7 nights
Lovely town house with a beautiful garden and pool.
Aldi just down the road for lovely fresh bread.
We've just returned today from a lovely week at this Villa. From beginning to end the owner and the local management firm have been attentive, helpful and brilliant with everything from answering questions, sorting transfers and more. Jill from BHP has been absolutely fantastic and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We booked transfers via Jill which was easy and lovely vehicles. We had a slight issue with The aircon/electics but Jill bent over backwards to help. The villa is well kept and very well equipped, plenty of towels, kitchen/crockery etc. We were a family of 6 (4 kids) and a friend travelling with us - the pool is absolutely amazing for all ages and the complex is clean and very quiet indeed. We often had the whole pool to ourselves for most of the day! Easy location with access to bus routes which can take you to marbella one way or Estepona the other way, although generally busy and not very frequent they get you to and from day visits easily and very cheap. San Pedro was our favourite! A few smaller local stores within a minutes walk and aldi no more than 5 minutes away for stocking up. Overall we had a fantastic week and we thank Lisa for the rental and Jill for making us feel so welcome.
We stayed here from the first two weeks in August and would say it is a superb family accommodation in a superb location. Jill is a great support and there if you need anything. She also has a great breadth of knowledge of the area, where to go and things to do. The villa is perfectly equipped with everything a family could need including washing machines and great WIFI. You open the rear doors to a small covered patio area to find an excellent communal swimming pool with a shallow end for children and a deeper end for grown ups. By the end of the fortnight our two year old Grand Daughter was confident enough to venture into the deeper end. This is a great area to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evenings but don’t forget the insect repellent.
The area has some good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Pizza Taxi has some really good handmade salads and pizzas, the Irish bar is great for a late pint on the way back and Mini India does a really good curry. There is a good Aldi supermarket is about 5 minutes walking away, but the Carrefour supermarket in Estepona is even better and only a 10-15 minute drive away.
I would strongly recommend hiring a car to get out and about. Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro & Estepona are all short drives away and have great restaurants and bars. Gibraltar is about a 50 minute drive away and worth a visit.
All in all i couldn't fault it and have to say a great two weeks that went far too quickly. I am sure we will be back.
