The show is well worth it. The horsemanship is excellent. Seeing the horses up on hind legs up close is quite a sight. The show provides a good overview of the versatility of Spanish horses. A great way to spend an hour before dinner.

This horse show is similar to the Spanish riding school in Vienna where horses do a variety of movements. The riders are all dressed in traditional Anaducian folk/country dress. There is also a woman who does a flamenco dance with a horse. In all well done, interesting and at 15€ per person is reasonably priced.

Like the last reviewer we were looking forward to the show which seemed to promise much at 15 Euros each and for that we expected something spectacular for our money. What we got was very disappointing and badly presented. We sat up in the balcony area of the auditorium and it didn't help that we were right next to the loudspeakers which were too loud (I'm 53 and my wife is 46 so we're not old!) and spoiled any enjoyment we might have had of the show. I'm sure the horses were very well trained and clever but the way the show was presented lacked any showmanship or excitement and most of the riders seemed to display an air of boredom as they performed pretty similar routines throughout the show which came across to us in the audience. Whilst some brief moments impressed most of it was pretty mundane and just like watching a dressage event with some flamenco dancers dancing with the horses. They could make a lot more of this with the potential to turn it into something truly exciting and entertaining with charismatic riders making it fun and impressive to watch. In summary, unless you enjoy watching well-groomed and well-trained horses being ridden around in a small arena for an hour doing dressage routines then I wouldn't waste your money. A disappointing shame.

We were really looking forward to seeing this show on the night we were in Cordoba (a Wednesday night) but for reasons not explained, the show was cancelled. What a pity. If Cordoba wants to have more tourists stay longer then it needs to diversify its attractions and this would be ideal as the other main show of this type is in Jerez and it can be difficult to work a touring schedule around a show if it is only on one or two nights a week.
