“Beautiful and tranquil place with first class accomodation”
Reviewed 17 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Cheriton Fitzpaine is a small friendly village and Redyeates is just outside the village. Redyeates is surrounded by lovely views and both the Barn and the Dairy are lovely with beautiful Kitchens, perfect for a family or group. Both the north and south coast of Devon are easy accessible as is Cornwall, making this an ideal location for visiting the various places in these counties. There are a couple of pubs in the village and a side selection of other good restaurants a short drive away. I would definitely recommend Redyeates to anyone visiting Devon.

“Excellent remote accommodation in a tranquil setting”

Although remote, you have everything you need as a welcome hamper is provided together with an honesty shop. So no need to venture out if you want a chillaxing break.

“Excellent stay overall”
Reviewed 11 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This place and its owners deserve a big pat on the back. Very friendly and welcoming environment with loads to do for the children. The place is kept very nice and tidy and is spacious for family accommodation. With a lovely view from each of the rooms, tennis courts and plenty of children activities, its definitely worth a family visit. Our children played tennis and were well looked after by the property itself! Plenty of CDs, books and indoor activities even when it was raining.
The lady owner was very kind and realising it was raining she bought our children an indoor football game and gave us some great tips in terms of nice restaurants. The place presents outstanding scenery and is definitely recommended for a good family break! We will most certainly consider returning when we wish to visit this area next.

Management Response
14 Apr 2016
Thank you so much for your lovely review. Many of our customers have commented about how much there is for the children here as a lot of the places they have been to say they are 'child friendly', but they don't include things like books, games and DVD's for the wet days. We are so pleased you liked everything and look forward to you coming back in the future. Best regards

“Fabulous child friendly retreat”

My husband, toddler, parents and I stayed in Redyeates Dairy for a long weekend in May. The accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean and well thought out for children. A sofa bed was already put together with a bed guard for our toddler when we arrived and a highchair, plastic plates, cups, children's cutlery and toys were supplied. The extras really made a difference and made the trip so much easier when travelling with small children. The grounds are secluded and safe with lots of space and things to do; an enclosed trampoline, table tennis, football, push alongs and a great swing/slide set. Our only advice would be to follow the excellent written directions supplied when you book, the location is out of the way and our sat nag struggled. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to go back!
