We booked on Amoma web-site for a family room but found we'd only got a double. The hotel was happy to provide duvets & pillows for our son to sleep on the floor (where he was comfortable). The room itself was clean & comfortable and breakfast was good. We enjoyed the stay but the booking arrangements could have been more honest!

Finding this hotel was quite a challenge. When approaching by car into the bus garage area, the sign for the hotel is behind you. We parked right outside the reception and still didn't notice the hotel! Once inside, we were kept waiting just a few minutes too long to be greeted. But they were pleasant. They directed us to the public (large) underground car park on the other side of the bus area. However, there was a lift from the car park into the foyer. Once parked we went to check in. The single guy on reception was now on the phone. With no eye contact or apology, we seemed to wait an uncomfortable amount of time before his busy partner made herself available. The room was the smallest of our 6 hotels but was fine. The view was quite nice but the Air Con was a waste of time.

No frills would describe this place.

Breakfast was very good & felt relaxed due to the open plan seating.

Would consider staying again but might look around first.

First I thought when booked the hotel it will not be that nice. I booked a hotel around hauptbahnhof and it wasn't good.
We were surprised to see how good GHotel was.
Stuff were so good and friendly.
Highly recommended..

The hotel was quite a surprise for both me and my wife. The packaged we paid for included a dinner in one posh restaurant in Koblenz, a cable ride, a castle visit, and a cruise to Boppard aside from the usual welcome drinks. The amount we paid was all worth it and we deemed good value for our money. The room given to us was clean and the hotel staff were responsive to each of our needs. Another advantage this hotel has is its close proximity to the central train station in Koblenz. It is just a short 5 to 10 minutes walk from the central train station.

Room tip: Choose a higher floor. You'll get a better view of the city.

Nice hotel walking distance from Train and Bus terminal... the town is relatively small so you can walk from all over town from this hotel. The hotel is nice as you walk in, the rooms are decent size (large by euro standards) and very clean and modern. I would recommend staying here though they did charge $28 for breakfast and it was not worth it (for me).. they should offer an a la carte option. Just user the coffee shop across the plaza and stay in this hotel. Rooms were a bit warm... overall enjoyed this stay in Koblenz for one night.
