I've to go to dusseldorf twice a year for business trip & stay 3-4 nights each trip. Last Sept. I tried this hotel and got the very good service & stay. So this March I'm not hesitate to go back & stay there as always I get a good time there again. So you know the one I'll choose for my next trip this Sept. Is here.

We stayed four nights me and my husband , and found it comfortable in all aspects , and mostly staff were so friendly and helpful , we felt at home.

Outstanding hotel. My family and I greatly enjoyed our 3 night stay. It's ideally located, within easy walking distance to the old town, Rhine, Museums, Opera and Konigsallee area. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. Rooms are large, comfortable and very well appointed (2 tv's , espresso maker, great linens & toiletries). Service is friendly and professional. This hotel offers great value for a truly 5 star experience.

spent three days in Dusseldorf and was really impressed with this hotel. I travel a lot and stay in hotels worldwide and this was, except for one issue, virtually perfect. the staff were, with only one exception, warm gracious and smiling and willing to do anything to assist. i had asked for the location of a Starbucks and they provided me with a map and excellent instructions however as i went outdoors i was a bit disoriented and the gentleman in front of the hotel asked what i was looking for and when i said Starbucks he said "oh that is a bit hard to explain, let me walk you there...amazing...what hotel has staff that treats guests in such a warm and professional manner? the room was excellent, the concierge staff were excellent, the hotel extremely well located, clean, well maintained and a great feel....
the only negative was at check out...my card was declined and the woman at the front desk was rude, unfriendly and not helpful in resolving the issue. the issue is a typical one for frequent travelers; when you check in they take your card and seek an authorization for what they expect your stay to be...then at check out they should take that authorization and use it to run the final charge. unfortunately on day one they ran the check in authorization twice for 1000 E (a total of 2000 E) and then on check out ran one for 900 E and after traveling for over 10 days the first two authorizations totaling 2000 E didn't leave enough on the card to authorize the actual room charge of 900. this is common problem at the front desks of hotels when you travel and if you are on a long trip can leave your primary card depleted quickly. i didn't object to the issue but i did find her attitude to be the only negative aspect of the stay.

Well-known as the premier hotel in town with excellent facilities, prime products and cordial service it is always our passion to put our guest's - your - well-being into the centre of focus.

Consequently we were devasteted learning about your most serious issue you were confronted with related to our staff member and to the payment procedure.

Please be ensured that we feel extremely sorry and hope you to accept our sincerest apologies.

We even tried in vain to find your details in our system to get in touch with you personally and directly.

At this stage we guarentee on the basis of the necessary actions we have taken that the unfortunate experience you had will not happen again. Further, we are currently investigating alternatives to our present credit card system to avoid issues with the pre-authorizations.

Sadly this hotel is not what it was,having stayed twice a year,my last trip was APPAULLING.
The rooms are spacious but the touch pad for the lights ac etc have packed up. the lighting
In the room if you can get the lights on is dismal. The toiletries in the bathroom are down to one body cream,no shampoo shower gel etc.One the first night we went for dinner in brasserie 1806. There was only one other table of a small group,we were ignored for 15minutes,when
I went to complain in the bar,the manager said if we waited another 25minutes we could try again!!!
The next day we returned to the room at 3oclock and neither my room or my assistant were done,I was told off by Susan who said the do not disturb from the touch pad was on,I said that my assistant room was not done either,she was not polite .far from it very stroppy.

Unfortunately our plane was cancelled,and we asked to stay on but the front desk manager said theyWere full and only offered us a suite at1900 euros,I said this was the same suite
They had given me before at a lower rate,but no they would not budge.he had no interest in
Helping a regular customer at all,
The over all feeling was that the hotel was cutting all sorts of corners with staff,products etc
And that the usual friendly helpful staff had been replaced by rather aggressive people who
Had no interest in you at all.
No longer five star and sadly a really bad experience at a very high price.

As we document occurrences of guests’ dissatisfaction during their stay I have been involved and informed from the first moment.
It is unfortunate that your description of your stay was not complete and accurate. We however do not want to continue with accusations and corrections.
We only feel the urge to underline that at all stages our staff behaved absolutely professional and always put your well-being at the center of their attention.
Our team of service professionals treats our guests at all times with the utmost respect and professionalism. Unfortunately it has not received this same treatment in return, which for us is very sad.
As it is management's responsibility to protect our team member’s dignity, I courteously ask you to choose accommodation elsewhere for your next stay in Duesseldorf.

Please know that it is still our passion to always strive to create the perfect experience for our guests, convinced that every challenge contains the chance to exceed expectations.
But consequently and in all fairness I regard this decision as unavoidable.
