Private atmosphere, dark, beautiful interior, good location. Locals told me this is a place movie people and actors favour, and I don´t wonder, it´s private, discreet and friendly. Also amazing rooms for smokers. Jacuzzi was a nice one, even though I had no chance to enjoy it, because you are not supposed to use it after 22.00.

Can't say enough about the staff and the hotel itself. They have done a remarkable job of updating the hotel. My room 404 was very comfortable king size bed a nice comfy lounge chair plenty of space in the room a great view of the train station and the Dom. Windows open for fresh air and when closed it is quite quiet. Small fridge, drinking glasses, grab a bottle of wine and relax in the comfort of your own room if you'd like but the lounge is a great place to hang to meet and make friends. The breakfast spread is great. Plenty of choices for any appetite.
I can only recommend a couple of things lotion in the bathroom, instructions for the heat/ AC ( room was hot during the night) and maybe a street / walking map or book of things and restaurants for a newbie to the area.
Veronica A+ for your attention and great service. Hope to see you all in 2 years time.

Really, one of the best, if not the best.
Great decor, great service, great location. Loved it.
I went on a business trip, so I just stayed for one night. Even though it was enough to get a feeling of the hotel.

We stayed here for Carnival and we really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful hotel with a cool funky vibe. The room was big and comfortable. It's the decor that makes it though. It's the kind of place you want to hang out. The staff was very friendly. It was very near the train station and the Dom if that fits where you need to be. For us the location was perfect. We would definitely book here again next time we're in Cologne.
