I'm a local, so believe me, you will hardly find better Italian restaurants in Bochum.
You can't get any pizza here, but you'll find a good variety of pasta dishes, starters and desserts. At first, I recommend to book a table in advance on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can do that online on their website.
The service is attentive and fast for German restaurants, but if every table is occupied, you may have to wait for your main course for an hour (which is normal in this country!). Nevertheless, every guest gets a "Greeting from the kitchen" - tasty bruschetta with tomatoes, basil and onions as well as a couple of parma ham. I love it!
