We have a year card and often come, so that we often come to see the change in the seasons. If you love gardening do not miss the Berggarten It is a historical garden, with very interesting species. My favourite is the part by a stream, on the left side of the gardens, which looks so natural and amazing. The greenhouses are really worth a visit, it is included in the ticket price. The orchids greenhouse is unique for the varied number of plants there, some quite rare to see. The cacti greenhouse has very interesting species. We are always happy to come, and always leave with an uplifted spirit!

Across the road from more famous Herrenhausen garten, this is a great place to relax, even during winter.

Upper park opposite main garden - smaller but really nice. Glasshouses with tropical flowers and butterflies are charming.

We visited here, and the musuem, and grossen garten all for 5 euros, so was not too bad.
Nice cactus house, and tropical house with a few nice butterflies, but the orchid house was closed. Then the canary island house, a walk down to the mausoleum, and then out.. Think it was just a bit cold. Saw a few squirrels running about which was nice
