We did the meal and show at 7:00. Would not do the meal again, way overpriced for what you get. The show was worth it even though we couldn't understand the emcee. They do serve "snacks" as well as drinks.

We attended an evening show in mid January during our visit to Frankfurt. At first I was a bit unhappy with the seating as it is small tables with chairs crammed together ala 1950's US night club scene. Through that maze servers weave their way from table to table for food and drink orders. It turned out to be OK and the performers kept your focus on the show. The hostess delivers her songs and commentary in all German, but we enjoyed the show with our limited understanding of the language. Overall the performers were very good and we enjoyed the evening.

We wanted a quick dinner before the show and tried Roma Ristorante which was a short walk from the theater. Food was tasty and a good value.

We were staying in Frankfurt for Christmas and this venue was highly recommend by our local friends. We booked a combined package of Christmas Eve meal, followed by a variety show, costing 149 Euros per person. This included an excellent four course meal and a highly entertaining two hour show. Drinks were at restaurant prices.
The entertainment included a captivating host, highly skilled acrobatics, amusing puppets and an amazing magician.
A great night out!

The dinner was delicious and the show was very exciting. Though every thing what we saw in the show was not new, I mean not the first time, however, it was something very special to see and experience so close in live! We will definitively comeback again

For several years now I've been going to Tigerpalast about once a year (which means I don't get to see all shows, since the performers change twice a year). It's enjoyable every time. The programme is very diverse, in the best sense of the word "variety": They do a very good job at putting together diverse acts such as acrobatics of all sorts, juggling, stage magic, clowns, etc., both within a show and over time to make each programme different from the ones of the years before. That ensures that there's pretty much something for everybody, no matter what your taste is. The masters of ceremonies speak mostly German (even though I've seen MCs speak English as well, and at least a little bit of information about each act is always given in English), but don't let that deter you - even if you don't understand a word of German you'll have a good time. The place is not big either, so you'll be pretty much close up to the artists.

What makes me give four rather than five stars are two things: Firstly, the prices. The tickets themselves are worth it (about 70 euros each at the regular price, though promotional offers with discounts are occasionally available), but they're still not cheap, and the drinks that you can buy there are very expensive (I can't speak for the restaurant, which I've never tried). And secondly, their policy of seating guests is very mysterious. You have no control over where you sit, neither when you book nor right before the show itself; an usher will assign you a table based on criteria that are not clear (I guess the best seats go to those who buy the dinner-plus-show packages). That entails a risk of sitting in a rather crowded corner where you'll be crammed in with other guests; the views are generally good from all seats, however.

Bottom line: Be prepared to fork over some money, and you'll have a good night out. It's nice to see that the classic art of variety theatres is still kept alive here. By the way, it's ideal for guys who need to take a date out.
