A couple of days in Bremen is worthwhile in order to see the old area full of classic german architecture. The location of the hotel was perfect for this. Rooms were good but forget about inhouse parking unless you have a very small car. Go around corner in parkhouse. Breakfast was also quite good. See what you need to see during the day.

Location is within close walking distance to downtown Bremen. Hotel has a unique theme replicating a spaceship interior. And just like life in a space vehicle, spaces are quite confined. Bathroom is very small. Breakfast can be improved. For those arriving with a car, some serious driving skills are necessary if you intend to make use of the hotels' carpark.

If you're a gamer or a sci-fi geek, this place is perfect, as its rooms feels like futuristic spaceship pods. For the rest of us, it may be a bit, uh... interesting (see photos). However, it's perfect for anyone who wants a clean place for a very reasonable price. I think the 12-minute walk to the centre of town is certainly worth it, for the tons of money you're saving. As expected of Accor properties, this hotel delivers on all the bare basics: cleanliness, competent housekeeping, polite and helpful clerks, free strong wifi, noise levels under control, adequate room temperature control (with operable window for fresh air), acceptable bed (for the low price), sufficient supply of towels, good water pressure and water temperature controls in the bathroom, and adequate toilet pressure. Note the bathroom is extremely tiny, and a large person may have some discomfort using it.

So many nice things to say about our stay at the Ibis. First of all it is nicely located about a 10 minute walk into the old city and lots of other shops. The tram and bus are located right in front of the hotel. The theme of the hotel is space and is nicely carried out throughout.(Even the waste bin in the lobby is shaped like a rocket ship) The personnel at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of questions and they were very helpful to look it up on the internet for answers. Maps are provided at the front desk. There are 2 lifts available so no need to walk the stairs. Rooms are small and bathroom really small. Mind you no complaints as we only used the room at bare minimum. Breakfast is off the main lobby and was more than adequate. A good variety of breads, rolls, cereals, fruits, meats and cheeses in the cold section. Hot selection included omelets, cooked eggs and make your own pancakes. Everything was nicely prepared and displayed. The help continued to fill dishes as soon as they were slightly down.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it for a stay in Bremen.
* We did stay in the front part of the hotel and it was a bit noisy from normal street noise and also from the tram. I think the back part of the hotel would be a better choice if you are bothered by it. We could also hear room noise and from doors opening and closing. *Parking* Parking is under the hotel and it is what other visitors say "Its very small and difficult to park" Big cars certainly are a no. The cost is€9 a day. If you are concerned with getting in and out it might be best to check it out on foot first.
