Clean and tidy basic appartment with lots of space, exactly as you see in photos.
A bedroom, plus beds in living and dining rooms. Small bathroom and a small kitchen with cooker+oven/fridge/microwave and equipment for basic meals.
Great location with very frequent tram, 10 minute journey to city centre Alexanderplatz. (English understood everywhere)
Small very late opening food shop next door, supermarkets ( not Sundays) further up street, city eating can be expensive so we cooked some meals. Restaurants nearby, (we enjoyed the Italian on Kollwitzrasse),
Highly reccomend this place as a base for a Citybreak, bought traveltickets (not the Welcome card as not "doing" museums) at airport train station...remember to validate... to hop on and off all tram/bus/trains/undergound.
Pros and cons with this unit:
-The location allows you to get outside the core tourist area.
-There are lots of beds so would accommodate families and large groups well
-The noise from the upstairs neighboring units TV could be heard until 02:00 most nights of our stay
-The washroom is awkwardly designed - not much room for legs between where toilet ends and shower begins
I liked that this was a family business renting out different flats to visitors. They knew what they were doing without awkward Airbnb antics. Checking was easy and from there we were left to it. The area is very good for transport as well as many local restaurants and shops.
Great apartment, right next door to a mini market and very close to restraunts and bars in the area. The M2 tram stops close by so it was easy to travel into town and see the sights also only a short walk to the U bahn
