Love it! Highly reccomend!

I really enjoyed my stay at H2! It's location is perfect. It's literally a 5 minute walk up the road from Alexanderplatz train station which is a great transport center to get you anywhere in Berlin. It's a really clean hotel! Our room was on the 5th floor and in order to get the lift to take you anywhere you have to scan your room key which is a really good security measure as it means only guests have access to the floor levels.

Our room was really modern with a great decor. It had 4 bunk beds, as there was only 3 of us staying in the room the fourth bed is folded up against the wall out of the way. There's a little table with 3 stools, another desk, a tv, a long mirror, coat hangers and bed hangers. The bathroom is pretty awesome. It has the sink and mirror next to a walk in shower and a wall with the toilet behind. There's a frosted glass door which can be moved to seperate the toilet area so that someone can use the toilet whilst someone else is using the sink etc which is pretty cool. The shower is AMAZING! It has 2 shower heads with great water pressure and is always hot! The shower does flood a little bit onto the bathroom floor where water escapes out of the shower door but thats nothing a towel on the floor can't solve. The beds are VERY comfy!! The pillows are really rather flimsy but we just asked reception for an extra pillow each, put the pillows on top of each other with one folded over on itself and then they were perfect! I'm not sure if the rooms are sound proof or not but we genuinly didn't hear a sound from any other guests or rooms which was great.

The staff were all very polite and helpful. Reception give you a free map which was really useful and stored our luggage for the day after we checked out as we had a late flight which was also kind. In the lobby there are 3 Ipads which are free to use, and there are several big egg shaped comfy chairs to chill in.

The resturant is also great! Breakfast consisted of bread, salad, ham, cheese, cereal, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, rye snacks and yoghurts, with fruit juice, tea, coffee and hot choc. The scrambled eggs were not good but the rest was nice.
There is a snack shop open 24/7 where you can buy bottled drinks, alcohol, snacks, cakes, and even hot food which is really cool.
The hot food was lovely! I had a chicken and pasta bake meal and it was delicious!

The only thing i wasn't keen on was that the pillows had hairs on them. We each had to pick the hairs off :/ I don't doubt that the pillows had been washed but perhaps this could be looked at. That is the ONLY bad thing, and tbh after 5 minutes i was over that issue :)

All in all, i would absolutely reccomend this hotel! i thought it was great and if i ever find myself in Berlin again i would definitley stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for an extra pillow from reception and fold them over. Very thin!

We stayed here for three nights in February. Our room on the first floor was very clean and absolutely sound proofed. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was better than any we have had in a similar priced hotel anywhere in Europe. Unlike some other reviewers we had no problem getting a table at breakfast. We didn't sample the food in the evening - but plenty were and it looked and smelled very good - and competitively priced. Would recommend.

Room tip: First floor room had fair WiFi signal

We chose the hotel for its location, its really 5' from Alexanderplatz and very close to "museum island". Location top!
The hotel has a fancy decoration, looks like a hotel for young people, with colors, receptionists are all 25-30 years old with jeans and tshirts.
Rooms small but VERY clean, and the breakfast is really good.
Free wifi also was great!
Maybe the price colud be lower, i suppose you can find a hotel with these services at about 80e...
I reccomend it anyway

Low rate hotel for Berlin. The hotel is located very near the city center. The breakfast is very good, despite the breakfast area can be a little bit too crowded at peak time. Room are clean and modern. The bathroom is amazing with warm floor and two kind of shower (handshower and rainhead).

This is a low rate hotel in Berlin. Very near to the city center. This hotel is meant for group of friends as the rooms have hostel like beds. The breakfast is very good specially the hot chocolate. The important part is that the hotel provides a free wifi which is not provided in Park Inn and Holiday Inn. The wifi is good for normal surfing but not good for skype connections or video streaming. The hotel is nicely connected and very nicely heated.

If you need to Iron your shirt, you need to go down and press yourself in a laundry room near reception.

Well worth staying here . No frills just basic small rooms, but very modern and clean.
Probably the best shower ever, with powerfull rainhead. We had the eigth floor with views over the city.
Dont expect a bar or a lounge, but the cafe area is open 24 hours a day.
Breakfasts are OK although eggs were the only hot item.
Excellent location in the heart of Alexanderplatz, with a Bavarian beerKeller next door.
