We booked this hotel based on Tripadvisor ratings and my wife's preferences for the Hilton chain. Fairly easy to find upon arrival from Hauptbahnhoff to Zoo. Garten S-Bahnhoff, and our initial double or queen room was nice but we wanted a twin. We were shocked to find the new room overlooking a major rail line including regular S-Bahn every few minutes. However, and this is the important part, German windows are of such high quality that the noise problems were absolutely negligible. Later I, now alone, moved to a double bedded room far from the tracks and that was quieter. But noise was never a problem for sleeping. So, if like me you may check Google Earth before coming, and you notice the tracks so close, do not worry.
The room care and breakfast are very good. After eight days one might ask for some variation in the breakfast options offered, but there is so much anyway that one can change selections to get some variety.
The location is good, lots of eating choices including the "Doener macht schoener" Come 2 Eat under the Zoo. Bahnhoff tracks, near the grocery store which is also handy.
Friendly multilingual staff and our special needs handled well.

This Hampton is near the Zoo train station, approximately 5 minutes by walking, allowing for easy access to the rest of the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops in close proximity.

There was a bit of a glitch on arrival. We were not aware of the extra daily fees for a second person to stay in the room. I later realized this is quite common in Europe. The young man at the desk was actually quite rude and did not treat us with respect when we questioned the situation. Fortunately, his manager was much nicer and able to provide service recovery. The hotel is clean and modern. Our room faced the train tracks but the sound was muted and we were not bothered. The complementary breakfast is a nice touch but can get crowded. Many items ran out and were not replaced right away. Internet is complimentary.

I would stay here again.

Clean, quiet, easy walk to great shopping, restaurants and to the s-bahn stations. We bought a 24 hour tourist pass for the transport system which was well worth it for us. We were very impressed with the modern hotel, free wifi a definite plus and breakfast was to a good standard. Friendly service and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

Honestly I would say that this is pretty on par with the MotelOne offering (if you add the wifi/breakfast package to the MotelOne room)

Yes, it's next to SBahn track and you will hear the 'rumble', if that bothers you.

Good wifi - but for some reason my iPhone kept dropping connection and had to keep re entering the long numerical codes - bit annoying.

Reception was efficient

Breakfast selection was adequate - although some issues with restocking glasses/mugs, tables cleared very speedily.

My main 'gripe' would be housekeeping. The Bed linen wasn't changed once over a four night stay. Often the rooms weren't cleaned until the afternoon, one day we got back at 1600 and it still hadn't been done and we just decided to skip it altogether!

Compared to other hotels In Berlin I thought very average!
