We stayed at the Central Inn next door to to Naumann's and paid the €7 to have breakfast there in the morning.
We were greeted by a nice man who brought us tea or coffee and breakfast was buffet style.
Nice selection of breads, meats and cheeses with cereal and fruit. Basic but did the job nicely and set you up for the day of exploring the city.

The food was nice and with large servings. Look of the pub felt comforting and comfortable. The only negative would be the service from the staff as we had the feeling he'd rather have been anywhere else but there..

We have visited Neumann's several times during the last 16 years for all meals including breakfast, lunch & dinner. The food of course is exquisitely delicious each time. To have a drink there is an experience by itself - the atmosphere is forever festive. The service is with the warmth of a smile and very neat and efficient. Every time we have visited, it has been memorable. The senior management is always there to give you a personal touch.

I visited with my brother as we were staying not far away. The atmosphere was quiet, but the pub in itself was fairly cosy and quirky, with all it's ornaments on the walls being .
Service was quick although there weren't many in for dinner.
The waiter, being seemingly the only staff on the floor and although not speaking fluent English helped me and my brother navigate through the night with my own broken german, and together we were successful in ordering a round of drinks and two meals. The waiter was friendly and patient with us touristy Brits.
The food was also pretty good.
Between us we ordered the Bavarian liver loaf and the hunter style Schnitzel. Each came with a modest salad, with no dressing, and half a plate of beautifully fried potatoes, with a covering of bacon bits.
My expectations were low because of the reviews on this website, and so I was pleasantly surprised, although it should be noted that liver loaf is not liver as it is cooked in the UK, rather it is a slab of meat which is almost indistinguishable from frankfurter sausage, but that is not the pubs fault, just the dumb luck of the Bavarians.
For schnitzel lovers, the schnitzel was a tiny bit tough but served in a typical mushroomy hunters sauce, which I am told it was nice and creamy, there were no complaints from its recipient.

All in all a good German pub, suits us plucky Brits well enough.
