Very impressed. The service was outstanding and the staff very friendly. The room was very nice and it a great location of town. Would highly recommend. The staff was helpful and offered suggestions on what to see and do in town.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed with modern fittings, but there is no lift. This wasn’t an issue for us, but may be a concern for others. The hotel has been extensively renovated but is one of the very early buildings in the city with columns/beams dated 1558 and other parts older. Ulla and her staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble-including paying my parking tickets on my behalf. After arrival, the hotel parked the car in their garage and retrieved the car when we needed it. The complimentary breakfast is simple but a balance between continental and cook to order eggs, sausages etc. The location is in the centre of the town and everything is in walking distance. Be aware parking inside the walled city is a challenge and follow Ulla’s easy access driving instructions- we didn’t and lived to regret it as the GPS lost us in the myriad of tiny back streets.

My husband and I had a simply perfect stay at Hotel Hernschloesschen in RodT. We were in room 7 which is a two level suite on the top floor. Unfortunately we did not use the sedon floor room as we mostly stayed in the main floor bedroom/living room combination. So this space was a bit wasted for us but would be great for a family situation.

The staff were wonderful and helped us with dinner reservations and recommendations. The garden is a lovely break from the walking and sight seeing. The breakfast was the best we had while in Germany and the staff are willing to see to whatever you may need.

I highly recommend this hotel with in Rothenburg. You will be close to all the best sights, have excellent personal guidance and sleep well during your stay.
