Stayed for 3 nights as a stopover to visit Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles on our way to Lake Garda.
Family room spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children and good views of nearby lake.
Breakfast was included with wide continental style selection available in the dining room each morning.
Hotel a short walk into centre of Fussen down a pedestrian/cycle path.

Lovely room with great views and balcony, very pleasant and helpful staff, delicious meals. Pleasant spa facilities, pretty garden and the opportunity to take meals inside or out. Excellent situation near the town centre, but very quiet. Walks available from the door.

We originally intended to stay a couple of nights before progressing north up the Romantiche Strasse but felt so at home we remained for 10 days.

Our bedroom balcony faced the mountains which provided an uplifting panorama each morning and the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff was first rate,The restaurant served good quality food and Fussen has a charming old town which is an excellent base for exploring southern Germany and the Austrian Tyrol.
All in all a memorable stay.........we will return.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the mountains

We accidently came upon this hotel while driving in Germany. This property was very clean, hotel staff were pleasant, and restaurant was wonderful. The scenery and property grounds are peaceful. This is a great spot for couples needing a break and place to relax.

We stayed in this very comfortable hotel for one night only, but can tell that this can also be a more days accommodation.
It is situated close enough to the historical centre to walk there and far away enough to avoid the noise that comes with tourist visiting the centre.
The room we had was huge, more then big enough for 4 people. It had a nice bathroom. Enough parking places available.
Very positive was the very complete breakfast with an excellent can of coffy or tea. Everything very fresh (including fresh cut fruit). A very good start of the day.
Looking at the total this is maybe the hotel with the best price to quality ratio. You get more than enough for a reasonable price.
