Description: A "Swedish Nuremberg" is the captain and Seafood - specialist on the bridge of the most traditional fish restaurants in Nuremberg. (Bavaria) At the local authenticity with all its nautical objects is however hard to beat yet. The goal of the gastronomic voyage is always the perfectly cooked fish. In return, ring inserted correctly in the belt and proffers maritime specialties from around the world. Fresh oysters from France meet original, Franconian carp and are mutually far from. Also steak from Argentina or duck finds its place here. It may well be due to its Scandinavian roots that the Norwegian Fish Pan represents a very special experience among all the delicacies. ~ The so ugly as tasty North Sea fish gurnard and loach be brought to this Court along with the redfish, with a scallop gratin, which is washed by a great lobster sauce, and a full flavors bloom. Served with vegetables and a baked potato, disclosed this dish all the splendor of the sea taste and the artful hands ring. Fish, no matter what their origin is, lived in this restaurant. The specialization is first rate class and quality. This is logical in the consistent quality guarantee of the boss. Then we call a strong "high the braces!" In the galley. *

A restaurant decorated like a navy ship that has some, old maritime history throughout! Good soups, appetizers and beer! While I didn't try the dinner the food was appealing, filling and very good!!

After driving past this place a million times, my wife and I finally managed to have dinner there last night. We were the first guests in the restaurant at 6pm. We ordered the fresh special of the day and it was very good. However we had to wait an hour for our food even though we were the first to order and the place wasn't busy at all. Then we had the nice, little surprise of getting our check for nearly €50.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. As we visited the place, they would close for some days and not all dishes were still available. A pity because there are really very nice dishes on the menu. Nevertheless, the waitress did a very nice job by advising us their best products. Don't expect fancy plates etc but a very honest kitchen with pure taste. I would, certainly, return to this place to try their other dishes.

We found this restaurant by accident while walking around Nuremberg at night in the snow right before Christmas when we got directionally disoriented. It is is located in a residential area just a couple of blocks north of the Albrecht Durer house and the Castle.
It is a very local and cozy place where you will be warmly welcomed and served some delicious food. I had the mussel soup and the "Norwegian fish-kettle" - Small gurnard, Steinbeisser, and redfish, scallops with lobster sauce, au gratin, small vegetables and baked potato. Auf Deutsch :„Norwegische Fischpfanne“ - Kleiner Knurrhahn, Steinbeisser und Goldbarsch, mit Hummersauce gratinierte Jakobsmuschel, kleines Gemüse und Folienkartoffel 22,80 €. This was at the high end of all listed entrees. There were many more less expensive options. If you end up in the vicinity of the Nuremberg Castle around lunch or dinner time I would highly reccomend walking a couple of blocks more to enjoy a meal here. If you go tho their website via Google, you can do a translate of the menu that appeared rather accurate to me.
