Great property in a perfect location on one of the main pedestrianised streets in the old town surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants but facing into the central courtyard so no noise. Only slight negative is 4 floors up with no lift.
The apartment has plenty of space, we had a group of 5 and had a room each one of which was very large with a lounge area and there is also a separate kitchen with a good sized table as a communal area.
It is nicely decorated and well supplied with essentials, hairdryer, sponges for washing up, board games, TV, radio, basically everything you need plus there is a good sized supermarket 50 yards away under the shopping centre,
there is even a fridge stocked with beer and other drinks with an honesty box provided. The owner Hendrik is a nice guy too.
We had 4 nights in Hendrik's 4th floor apartment in Nuremberg, and really enjoyed our stay. Hendrik was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment was all set up on our arrival. It's a bit unusual - there is a galley kitchen, and there are no windows in the bedrooms so it has glass walls to let in some natural light. But once we got the hang of the strategically placed lamps, it was a very cosy space. The apartment is within the old walled city, so very handy to all the sights. In a slightly dodgy part of town (adult entertainment shops around the corner), but very quiet at night and we never felt unsafe. Would recommend this to couples as well as families.
