A statue of a famous local historian located near to Marienplatz. The statue is very realistic. Otherwise, nothing very special.

Very realistic. You might walk past him from Marienplatz. I wouldnt make a beeline to see it though. Very random

Walking around Mareinplatz you most likely will run on this statue of Sigfried Sommer.
This is the case when you know nothing about it (most likely) and after you see it, start looking for the information about this person.
But in general this statue is very detailed, so at the first moment you can think that it is some person walking (it happened to me, before I realized that it is statue)

This is a human size brass statue of the famous German novelist located on Rosenstrasse. Nothing special. If you are around this area, you can try to 'find' him.

After completing my visit to Marienplatz (Reviewed earlier) walking onRosenstrasse i notice this statue of a man walking in the same direction as me with a hand in his pant pocket with a muffler thrown carelessly thrown around his neck & a newspaper under his arm ! I learnt that this is the statue of Siegfried Sommer who wrote a popular newspaper column dealing with the social happenings & gossip around Munich after the 2nd world war.Nothing special about the man or the statue apart from the above facts & not worth going for going to it as an individual attraction of note.
