The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a reservation for the BMW plant tour for us and gave us detailed directions on how to get around Munich to see the sights and end up at the BMW plant. The accomodations were very nice and quiet and the location is great - close to the castle and public transportation. We would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends.

We stayed here with our teenage daughters just before Christmas. Every comment about Sebastian ( the human elevator) is spot on! He and wife Alexandra are really amazing and knowledgable hosts, and you do feel like part of a family staying here. Very safe neighborhood, we often walked to nearby restaurants at night, and no noise. Good value breakfast, what appeared to be a newly renovated large bathroom, but rooms too small, especially with large suitcases in them, so ask for a larger one. No elevator so not so good for older guests, anyone with access issues. Spotlessly clean and well located to transport. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a larger room if you have a lot of luggage. If you're only travelling as a weekender, s...

Our extended weekend in Munich and Hotel Laimer Hof was a very good experience. The hotel is nice and cozy with very friendly and helpful service. The castle next to the hotel (5 min walk) is an amazing sight and the rest of Munich is only a short tram ride away. The tram station is also only a short walk away so here you are central while not in the middle of town. If anything should be improved it would be to select language on the TV (everything dubbed to german). All in all a great stay with friendly owners at a good price. Recommended!

Wow! What an incredible helpful man Sabastian is. Mr Hospitality plus. We had a wonderful 3 day stay in snowy Munich in February 2012. I felt so at home walking to the palace, jumping on the trams(always my preferred transport option) & no worries about the ticket as Sabastian had them for sale and told us all the rules. The room was exactly like the photos and breakfast was comprehensive. The public transport was so brilliant that on Sabastians advise we decided to catch the bus to the airport metro with two large suitcases & two large ski bags and we didn't even get a sweat up!

We spent two nights at Laimer Hof and we were more than satisfied. The facilities are very good, all staff members are effective, friendly and helpful, and the hotel is definitely a good value for money.
Laimer Hof has got a really charming and welcoming atmosphere and you can feel like you're visiting good friends. The location is also great: it is a quiet residential area close both to the centre and to the airport, there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and Nimphenburg palace is just round the corner. Speaking of the restaurants, we can strongly recommend the Italian one!
I can't say anything bad about the hotel and we'll definitely stay there again when we're next in town.
Thank you, Sebastian and Alexandra!

Madeleine and Valeriy

P.S. The hotel is very easy to find if you have a map. We would strongly recommend to have one as people in the neighborhood don't seem to know where Laimer street is.
