The location is near the station and with us making a lot of day trips this was good. However its not that close either. If your okay dragging suitcases through streets or taking the bus then its fine. The room was large and since it was our anniversary they gave us a bottle of wine which was very sweet.

We've been there for 2 nights. The bulding is beautiful, the roon recently renewed with taste and efficacy sense. Very nice mattress. Breakfast very good, personal very kind. Price extremely fair. Wifi very good.

Easy to access by vehicle, free parking in rear, close to public transit or walking to Marianplatz and the fair grounds. We stayed two nights before Octoberfest set upon the city and during the heat wave. As this is not a chain hotel and is an old gal that has been wonderfully maintained, central Air is not a luxury to be had here. Hotel itself and location is worth the trade off. We had great service from the staff during our booking with them (we booked direct) and during our stay. Rooms are spacious with a separate seating area, mini fridge stocked with drinks for a reasonable price. We would take our drinks and sit outside at the little table after a day of exploring - nice way to top off the day. This hotel does have a lift so I would say mobility is not too much of a concern unless you cannot do stairs at all as you do need to climb some to get into the hotel itself. If mobility is an issue check first with hotel if there is an alternative to the entry. Breakfast is included in the room rate, the breakfast is everything required for a day of exploring with good options and is served in a charming room with comfortable seating.

We stayed five nights at the Hotel Uhland in the beginning of December, 2016. The hotel is within a five minute walk to the Oktoberfest grounds (subway station) and quite close, maybe 10-15 minute walk, to the main train and subway transfer station.
A standard but hearty European breakfast is included. The front desk staff are friendly and willing to help. We especially enjoyed dealing with Olga, Nate and Nicole.
We had to stay in two different rooms due to booking rather late on our part. Rooms on the top floor seem to have been recently updated. Room #34 is a large room with new furnishing and a large ultra-modern bath-- very nice. Room #28, on the other hand is smaller, but still adequate, with older furnishings, an enclosed sun porch and a bit more character.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

This is a nice boutique hotel located just a few blocks from the Central Munich train station. We found it easily when we downloaded maps.me and it was a straight 3 blocks of easy walking. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Nate was so knowledgeable and a joy to talk to. He was originally from the states but now has lived in Germany for over 17 years. He will give you all kinds of things to see and do. Breakfast was simple but good. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel just from the service alone.
