Stayed two nights. Enjoyed location away from hustle and bustle. If you enjoy walking great location. Rooms roomy, breakfast lots of choices, not skimpy on coffee. Free coffee in lounge during day and evening. We had to catch an early train we were allowed to eat breakfast an hour before officially opening. All staff pleasant and helpful.

We stayed here 2 nights and would stay again. It's a great location close to the train station, city center and if you are here during the October Fest it's just around the corner, situated in a quiet, leafy street.
We had a medium size room on the first floor which even had a conservatory attached to it. The only down was the tiny old CRT TV. Just doesn't seem adequate these days.

Breakfast buffet is impressive and tasty!

Staff are friendly and helpful and clearly love their job. Big thumbs up.

We have stayed at Hotel Uhland in the past and found it to be 1 block from the Oktoberfest grounds. So, when we decided to attend Oktoberfest, we knew it was the best location, besides being a wonderful hotel. The cost is much more expensive during Oktoberfest time (about 3X), but all the hotels increase the prices and you are frequently required to pay in advance. Also, we had to book such a prime location about 9 months in advance. Despite how busy the city is at Oktoberfest time, the hotel was still perfect for us - great location, beautiful building and very nice rooms, and a great breakfast. The owner has a sweet little dachshund named "Hummel". We were in room #15 - a corner room. Despite being so close to the Oktoberfest grounds and the number of people in the area, we never heard anything from our room. Also, the hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station

Room tip: Room #15 - corner room, large and comfortable

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was wonderful! This hotel is within walking distance to Oktoberfest, Frauenkirche, Peterskirche, Marienplatz, Viktualienplatz, Hofbrauhaus and all old city tourist sites. Easy to access Ubahn and other transportation close.

Everything was perfect in this small well run hotel. The room at the front of the hotel was really comfortable and clean, with a small balcony. The bathroom was really roomy to. It was only a short walk from the Train station and a lovely walk into the centre of Munich again only a short walk. The staff were very friendly and the women were dressed in traditional costume, which was lovely. The breakfast was traditionally continental but the choice was wonderful. I would certainly recommend it and if we ever came back to Munich (which we wish to sometime) we would check this hotel for availability first.
