Great firm bed: twin sized mattresses but they are secured together so they don't move apart in the night. The shower was excellent: a full size bathtub, a great showerhead with adjustable pressure, and blue shower gel provided. Two large mirrors: one in the bathroom and one near the bed. There is a television. A free coffee machine is available in the lobby, but sometimes there are no cups.
Another reviewer complained about the church bells. There is a giant church across the street. The bells were not an annoyance to us, although they do ring at the quarter hours in addition to half hours and on the hour. The loud Sunday bells that lasted for five minutes started around 10:20am. Those might be difficult to sleep through, but we were awake by then. There are short bells starting on the hour at 7am M-F.
Negatives: Towels and sheets were stained. No Air Conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open. Noisy cars pass along this street all night. Breakfast is not included. This seems to be placed in a mostly residential district with very few restaurants within an easy walk. We took the subway from the train station and then walked 4 blocks to the hotel. I believe a bus could get you closer. I'd say we walked between 20-30 minutes to visit most attractions and restaurants.More
