We stayed here for one night. This hotel is simple but very cosy and charming with 24/7 reception, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Well located, just beside a U Bahn station and 5min from city center by train. The room is comfortable and clean, mattresses are good, bathroom is also ok. Breakfast is not buffet but tasty and generous, served in a friendly manner and in a nicely decorated room. If you're looking for value and quality rather than glitz this is the best place in Munich.

Hotel Brack is a lovely hotel situated in a nice area of town only 2 train stops from Marienplatz. (Train station is in front of the hotel ). The rooms are very nice. The staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfast!! Many local restaurants within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

We picked this hotel because of its location close to the centre. It was around a 20 minute walk, or there is also a U Bahn station very close by. The main station is also close, maybe 20 minutes walking. The rooms were a good size, and the breakfast was excellent. Service at the breakfast was good, as well as the reception. some other restaurants are close by for a variety of meals

Room tip: Close to the centre

This hotel is in a great location - about 20 minutes walk from the centre - given the cost (the very central options are a lot more expensive).

There was free parking outside (although we managed to get the last spot, so if you don't get one then you could be stuck). The wifi worked well inside. The receptionists were all very friendly and spoke excellent English.

The breakfast, as mentioned by other reviewers, was lovely, particularly the fruit salad and wide variety of breads.

The room was a bit basic, but did the job.

All in all recommended as a budget option in central Munich.

We are staying in Munchen for about six days as part of a RTW holiday and found this hotel be to ideal. Right out side a U station on U3/U6 lines it is two stops from Sendlinger Tor and then one stop on U2 to Hauptbahnhoff or one more to centre of the old town. Same line to University, English Gardens, BMW World and Olympic stadium. Staff cannot do enough for you. Rooms were immaculately clean, serviced daily if you wish. Breakfast has to be the best "free" breakfast I have ever encountered! Piping hot coffee and huge variety served with a smile. There is no up and down three times to get fed!
Downsides for the whingers? I suppose the bathrooms are on the small side and in the lift you will become intimately associated with your luggage but that is common in Europe. Our room had no bath, no fridge, no iron but free wifi, champagne on arrival. Comfortable beds with the best doonas! I like the place!!

Room tip: side street rooms are quieter
