Excellent hotel. It is priced very reasonably. The rooms are clean and very modern. It has all the basic essentials. Hotel is at good location - walkable distance to the metro, but a little quiet at night - may be hard to find a taxi when late.

Breakfast buffet includes wifi from room - a good deal. Otherwise, using internet in the lobby is free.

Our family of four stayed in two rooms for three nights while we checked out several of the Munich Christmas markets. There was a mix of (mainly) business travelers with some tourists (we were there mid-week), but we received friendly advice (in quite good English) on markets and restaurants that were child friendly. Even with two rooms, the hotel is a good value. The breakfast was worth the extra fee for us (our children were free). We love German breakfast buffets and this one met our expectations: varieties of cheeses, meats, fruits, yogurts, spreads, cereals, etc and coffee. Lots of coffee. The hotel is newish and decorated very mid century modern. The rooms were compact, but well designed. As other reviewers noted, no closets, but there is a hanging rod tucked away and several shelves. The rooms were quiet and the wifi worked well for us. The location was convenient, close to metro, easy walk into town and right around the corner from the museum, which was a fun visit with the kids. We would stay here again.

Great location, and for Munich again very good price. Check in fast and because you pay in advance you loose no checkout time. Even the bar was growded at 11 pm and the drinks are good and the price very good. See you again in April !

5 minute walk from Rosenheimer Platz tube station or a 15 min walk into centre. Located in a quiet area. Downstairs area of the hotel was beautiful, so much nicer than we had expected for the price we paid. We stayed in December so there were Christmas trees decorated in the hotel’s colours – turquoise and chestnut brown. TV screens showing log fires gave a very cosy feel (there is also one of these in the room which comes on automatically when you enter the room and put the key card in the socket to turn on the electricity). The bar area is lovely, very spacious and not too pricey. This also doubles as the breakfast area in the morning. Wifi available, there are lots of seats, tables, sofas in the bar / breakfast / lobby area where you can sit and use your computer etc. if you want to. Rooms are quite small but due to the nice décor and a few clever touches this feels more cosy than cramped. There isn’t much hanging space for clothes (we found a hidden hanging rail over by the window on the last day) this didn’t bother us too much because we only stayed for three nights. Bathroom is small but the shower is great, really powerful. Breakfast is good, it is charged extra but we felt it was worth it, there was a good selection available and good coffee. We were visiting for the Christmas Market which we would highly recommend, make sure you visit Hofbrauhaus, Ratskeller (under the town hall) is lovely for lunch or dinner, a day trip to Salzburg is well worth it too as it’s a beautiful city.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors have great views over city

From a design perspective this hotel has made clever use making the most of their space but the rooms are incredibly tiny. I think they should re-visit their wifi policy. Free wifi should mean free wifi. I was there for a week and found it absolutely tedious to have to get a new password every 24 hours and separate login credentials for my iPad vs. laptop. While there were a few exceptions the front desk staff were generally rude and unhelpful during my stay. In general I think this place might be better for a weekend in Munich rather than business traveler.
