I stayed at the vi vadi with a group of friends in late April / early may and was really happy with my choice.

The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. The only issue for me was around the pillows which were rather like a mini duvet?

Staff were friendly and keen to help with local advice and recommended some nice bars to visit.

The real star of this place is its location which is second to none. Would definitely stay here again, a real gem of a place

Close to station, helpful friendly English speaking polite staff. Close to the main station and city centre. Good breakfast with full range of cheeses, croissants, bread rolls, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, water, tea and tomatoes.

I stayed at this hotel twice during September. The location is good, close to the railway station but on a back road so you are away from the typical station chaos. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is tiny but ok.
The staff were ready to help in every possible issue and very kind. In the basement there are some washing machines and driers which can be very useful when you are traveling. The Internet connection was poor the first time because my room was a bit too distant from the hotspot at the centre of the floor. The second time my room was closer to the lift and the connection was better. The only negative aspect of this hotel is that there's no air conditioning and if you have a room facing on the main road you cannot leave your windows open and the room can get really hot!

We stayed for two nights towards the end of July and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We arrived by train from London, at about 22:00 (just in time to watch the Olympics opening ceremony on the TV), so it's proximity to the main station was a definite bonus. Having said that the location was reasonably quiet and within easy walking distance of the centre of Munich. We had what could be best described as a little suite, with a double bed up stairs on a mezzanine floor and the sofa bed all made up ready downstairs. There was also a table for four and a small kitchenette - the fridge was stocked with beer and soft drinks... Very welcome after our long journey! The room was very clean and homely. The lift was a bit - er - temperamental though didn't cause us any problems. We tried the Italian restaurant next door which we would also recommend wholeheartedly. The reception staff were friendly, professional and helpful. All in all, not a "four star" but we were very pleased with the hotel overall.

Room Tip: Family rooms with the mezzanine floor are recommended

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel in Munich because all my usual places were all booked out. The hotel is doing the job and the staff is very helpful and professional. Though, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

I enjoyed the fast internet and the location. Very close to public transport and to the center of Munich. Though, the rooms do not have airconditioning and it is steamy hot in the room during summer. There is a fan which helps a bit, but not much. Also the bathroom is very small with a small shower with a shower curtain which is all the time gluing against your body when taking a shower. Not pleasant.

Staff is very helpful with explaining everything and we also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in the italian restaurant.

The place is doing the job and is also good value for money. Though, if you are looking for a real 4 star hotel, don't go here.

Room Tip: The front rooms are very noisy and very hot in summer. Backside rooms might be more convenient.
